Can i stay?

When I opened the door to my house my  dads were right in front of the door smiling. "Hi dads" I said as I walked to them and gave them both a hug and a kiss on the cheek then I walked to my room all miserable.
One of my dads walked in the room and noticed how sad I looked.
"Oh sweetie what's wrong my little Rachel" he said as he sat next to me on the bed.
"I found my mom...my real mom, but I'm not allowed to see her...I have to pretend she's not my mom,she's a teacher I can't call her mom."
My dad looks at me and picks up my chin "well sweetie... Cheer up... At least you get to see her at school... A little right?"
"Yea..,. Hey dad can I ask you a question..."
"What's up?" Said my dad
"Can I ask Shelby if I can stay with her ... I mean I love you guys a lot and I'll visit you whenever I can ,I promise." I said as I made a puppy face.
"I get it babe... Yes you can go stay with Shelby..if she says yes"
"I'll ask her tomorrow"
My dad got up and walked out of the room" good night rach"
"Good night dad".

"RACHEL GET UP ITS TIME FOR SCHOOL" my dad yelled from the other room.
I got up from my bed and looked at the time "8:10 oh god I'm late."
I put my clothes on and brushed my teeth and hair. "Dad can you drive me to school today" I said as I got my jacket.
"Yea sure Rach" my dad said as he got his keys.
When I arrived at school I gave my dad a kiss and ran inside the school and then to the glee club room. "Did I miss anything?" I said while panting.
"Nope you are just in time" said mr.schue.
Santana looked at me and then rolled her eyes as I walked to my seat.
"Guys nationals is a few days away and I want you all to have fun because you know that's what it's all about." Said mr.shue. Mr schue looked m out the window and saw Shelby.
"Guys I'll be back okay umm Mercedes sing something ...anyone. I'll be back in a sec"
Mercedes got up with Santana  and started to sing heart attack by Demi Lovato. I got up from my chair and walked out the class leaving everyone in the room suspicious.
I saw  Mr.Schue talking to someone... Shelby. Shelby and mr schue looked back to see if anyone was there. "Cost is clear said Mr.Schue. And then something happened, a kiss. I walked in the middle of the hallway and froze. Shelby opened her eyes and pushed Mr.Schue away. "Oh no" she
whispered."RACHEL WAIT!" She said as I began to run away.in a few minutes Shelby found me outside on a bench.
"Rachel I---"
I cut Shelby off and said "why didn't you tell me you were going out with him"
"Rachel it's my life not yours ....I told you once and now I'm gonna tell you twice... I am not you mother.... I'm just a teacher. You don't need to know who I'm dating"
I looked down at the ground and said " i know it's just..... Shelby I was gonna ask you if I could stay with you....😔... I wanted you to be my mother but now I know that, that will never happen. I...I have no one to talk to and for sure my dads don't understand. I need a mom...a mother, you.  Shelby put her hands on her face and said "oh god... I knew this was gonna happen"
"Are you mad at me?"😟
"No Rachel I'm not mad at you but about the question I need a few days to think about it"
I got up from my chair and said "fine" then I walked away.
