{ Susie's POV }

I huddled around Kris and Jupes as we walked through the iced-over city.

To think Noelle did all of this...

None of this would've ever happened if she was dead.

All of the puzzles were frozen, so we could just walk through them.

   "What are.. what are we gonna do when we find her? Just subdue her and tie her hands behind her back until we get back to the Light World?" Jupes asked. "I don't know... I guess? She probably isn't gonna come quietly, so we might as well," Kris replied. 

We went through a dark alley when Queen's voice echoed near the end.

   "Oh Children Where Are You" she asked.

We tried to run away but Kris and Jupes slipped on the ice, falling on their asses...

   "DAMN IT..." Kris pouted.

    "Oh There You Are Haha, Do You Now See What I Meant About Your Friend Ruining My Kingdom" she said, trying to chip some of the ice with her heels. "Yes... We do see. Are you gonna capture us or...?" I asked. "Oh No I Was Just Bored Lmao You Guys Are Cool Again; Haha, Get It" she said, smiling. "Haha... funny.." Kris said awkwardly. "Anyways Toodles I'm Late To My Acid Bath" she walked off.

We continued to walk, trying to find Noelle and Berdly so we could just go home.

I just wanna spend time with Kris...

Like.. take them out somewhere nice.

The cafe would be cute but... I'm pretty sure Catti works there sometimes so I wouldn't want her to know me and Kris are a thing.

And Ice-E's...

Definitely not.

I mean we could just go for a walk in the forest...

Or just ditch town and do us for a day.

Kris held my hand, rubbing their thumb on the back of it.

  "Jeez Kris, you're freezing... I'm making you rest when we get home," I said. "Are you feeling alright Suz?" they asked. "Me..? Yeah. Yeah I'm fine," I said. "You just look really stressed so I hope you're not lying to me... You'd never lie to me, right?" they asked. "Of course not. I'm.. just a little stressed about all of this. But once we get back.. we can hang out, and everything will be fine," I said. "You're right, let's just try to get out of here.. this wasn't as fun as I was hoping it'd be," they replied.

We passed by another one of those weird mouse puzzles and passed a few trash cans, when we finally found Noelle.

    "NOELLE!" I called to her. "S-Susie? What are- ...hmph. What are you three doing here," she asked. "We're here to take you back home. So if you would just cooperate that'd be-"

  "Why should I listen to anything YOU say when YOU'RE A MURDERER."

Kris stepped back a little bit as Berdly walked in.

   "..Noelle? There you are! I've been looking all over for you, where have you-" 

   "Go away Berdly. I don't want you around me. I don't want ANY of you around me. Susie, why the FUCK did you beat me up? Because I called out that... shapeshifting bitch for what she is? Both of them are evil. They killed Snowy and thought I wouldn't figure it out. You were the last person who saw him. Of COURSE YOU KILLED HIM!" she yelled. "Stop picking on Kris and mind your fucking business," I growled. "Are you really defending them?" she asked me. "OF COURSE I'M DEFENDING THEM! Just. Okay look. Both of you, just come with us, and we'll take you back home, and never speak again, alright?" I said. "That won't work unless Kris turns themself in and does their time like the criminal they are. Unless BOTH of them turn themselves in-"

   "AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE IN YOUR ROOM RIGHT NOW?!" 

That wasn't Jupes or Kris yelling..

It was Berdly..?

Well, if I can change, I guess he can too.

    "What... what did you say?" she asked him. 

   "YOU.. YOU HEARD ME! YOU HARASSED JUPITER! YOU BULLIED HER AND EXPECTED SUSIE TO FIND... FIND IT FUNNY! HOW COULD THAT EVER BE FUNNY. NO WONDER SHE HATES YOU. I'M DONE BEING YOUR FRIEND IF YOU'RE JUST GONNA KEEP ACTING LIKE THIS. LIKE YOU'RE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE AND YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT BECAUSE YOU CAN'T. KRIS WOULD NEVER KILL SOMEONE... as weird as they are sometimes... AND EVEN IF THEY DID, WHY WOULD YOU SIT AND WATCH INSTEAD OF CALLING THE POLICE?? BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T SEE THEM DO IT. YOU HAVE NO PROOF," Berdly yelled at her.

  "...Susie doesn't hate me. You don't hate me! Right..? You.. you love me! It's obvious you do! All the times you said hi to me in the hall! I.. I was the only one you didn't bully freshman year! You've always loved me!" 

   "OF COURSE I HATE YOU! I DESPISE YOU AND I ALWAYS HAVE. I LOVE KRIS! I AM IN LOVE, WITH KRIS AND I HAVE BEEN SINCE SOPHOMORE YEAR. SO FUCK OFF, AND GET OVER HERE, SO WE CAN GO HOME," I yelled.

  "You... they brainwashed you, didn't you?! They.. they put some spell on you to make you love them more than me! Well I'll stop them from hurting you," 

"I'll stop them from warping your mind to evil."

She raised her hand at Kris, about to use her powers on them but it failed.

Berdly grabbed her arm and pulled her to the ground.

   "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" he asked. "GET OUT OF MY FUCKING WAY!"

*SLASH*

Berdly screamed out in pain.

I looked down and saw..

His wing was gone.

She cut his wing off.

His bone was exposed, blood draining out as Kris and Jupes ran toward him. 

I ran up to Noelle and knocked her out with the back of my axe. 

Berdly collapsed, as Jupes was using her training bandages to wrap his wing up.

 I felt unsteady..

Like I was gonna pass out any second.

Everything happened so quick a-and I..

I felt like throwing up.

I completely spaced out from everything that was going on, when Kris was shaking me.

Apparently in the time I zoned out, Kris and Jupes have already helped him and tied up Noelle.

   "Let's... let's just get to the fountain as quick as we can and get Berdly to safety."

   "..Okay."
