Izuku had been punching the sandbags nonstop for about an hour now. He's trying to break his limits one more to get stronger punching power. His arms are becoming too heavy to carry from how exhausted he is, but he pushed through without losing speed or power. He's kept a consistent pace throughout the entire thing.

The timer went off, finally. He took a deep breath before his arms dropped dead. They laid limp on his side. He couldn't move them at all. But he can feel his muscles burning, and that's the feeling he wanted.
His knuckles stung a bit. They were extremely red. But the skin hadn't teared yet. Before, he could only keep this up for thirty minutes, and his knuckles got busted.
Now, he can handle it just fine with no major damage. Mostly.
Recovery Girl, or Granny Chiyo, helped ice his sore arms. The sensation felt fantastic.
"How long did you last this time, kid?" She asked, wanting to know how much progress he made so she could mark it down on his record.
"A little over an hour. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes extra? I kinda lost track."
"That's fine. As long as you surpassed your previous time, it's progress. Now." She sat down at her desk typing something into her computer. "In a bit, I'll heal you up so your muscles can get enough rest before they rebuild themselves. I have no doubt that breaking your body and fixing it up again will make you undoubtedly stronger."
"I have to thank you. Had I stayed back home, I wouldn't have made this kind of progress. Having you around made me able to go past my limits much faster than I could've originally. Thank you." Izuku smiled. He's glad he came to UA. They really have made him stronger in ways he wouldn't be able to on his own.
"Oh, phooey. You're the one doing this yourself. It's your sweat blood and tears that did this. Your own effort is what you need to thank. Now go on, get!" She shooed him out once he felt better and handed him some gummies just in case.
"Bye Granny Chiyo." He popped the candy in his mouth and left.
"Hard to believe that angry kid grew so much in just one year." She smiled, remembering when he first arrived. "Yes, quite the growth indeed."

Hitoshi Shinso had done a lot of thinking since he was saved by that kind/rude person. He was grateful for it, really. But his words after the incident had sparked something in his mind.
The guy was right. He never tried to defend himself. Yea, he said that he'll be a hero and prove them wrong, but he never actually stood up for himself. He never once tried to stand up for himself and do something about it. He just took the abuse instead of fighting back.
So after he he was saved, he decided to bulk up. He began working out, started going for jugs and all.in all started building up muscle.
As for how to fight, well, he was inspired by his savior and took on boxing. He figured that with his Quirk, boxing could be really useful when he had them trapped to deliver a powerful knockout blow. That and he saw how Izuku taunted them into attacking before countering attacking himself.
He figured his taunting could be very useful to get them trapped in his brainwashing quirk. Trash talking seemed fun.
When all was said and done, he took the entrance exam, and the moment he realized that he'd be fighting robots, all the progress was thrown out the window.
He didn't have the physical strength to take down robots with his bare hand. He resigned to his fate and just tried his best while simultaneously helping out others whenever he had the chance.
