Shortly after Hope conversation with Emma, Scott and her were walking towards where Alaric's Jeep was located as they saw someone underneath Alaric's car.
Hope:"Hello?" She asked as Rafael rolled out from underneath the car.
Rafael:"Hey." He said as rolled back underneath the car.
Scott:"What are you doing?" He asked.
Rafael:"Adjusting the sway bar."
Hope:"Was it broken?" She asked as Rafael broke the sway bar off underneath the car and rolled out.
Rafael:"It is now. You're going after Landon, If you want this car to work, I'm going with you."
Hope:"You should stay out of it. Landon a liar and a thief.."
Rafael:"He took a stupid knife."
Scott:"Nothing in this school is a stupid, he took an unidentified artifact that could do god knows what."
Rafael:"Look. He's my best friend. And you? You seem vengeful."
Hope:"Let me show you something." She said as she put her hands on Rafael face."Close your eyes." She said showing a vision of the bus Landon was on as he pulled out the knife as it glowed followed by the aftermath of charred corpses.
Rafael:"What the hell was that?" He asked.
Hope:"Your best friend did that to a bus full of people on Route 29 last night, and we are the only ones who knows how to find him, So give me the engine thingy." She said, holding out her hand.
Rafael:"No."
Hope:"We have actual magic powers." She said gesturing to Scott and her.
Rafael:"And I have a long history of anger issues." He said as Alaric walked up from behind them.
Alaric:"He can come."
Hope:"What?"
Alaric:"He knows Landon he'll be an asset. And we need all the help we can get, so fix the car and hop in. And put a shirt on." He said as Scott put his bag in the backseat before closing the door and waiting.

After the car was fixed Alaric drove the jeep to Route 29 scene and stopped as Hope, Rafael, Scott and him got out as Scott grabbed his bag with the Helm before closing the door as they begin walking into the woods.
Hope:"I don't know why he's still out here. He has a whole day's lead on us. He could be anywhere."
Rafael:"Maybe 'cause he doesn't have a reason to run."
Scott:"Logic that would be perfectly believable. If he hadn't, you know, ran." He said as twigs snapping was heard.
Alaric:"Wait... Shh! You hear that?" He said as they stood still to hear footsteps. "Someone's here." He said as they ran in the direction of the footsteps to find a woman in a dress with ash on her face. "I-It's okay. I-I'm not gonna hurt you. Were you on the bus? Can you tell us what happened?" He asked the woman who remained quiet as Scott began thinking.
