"Lose what?"

Mina squeak and spins around to face the door with both hands clasp to her chest. She wobbles unsteadily as she tried to regain her balance and then nearly stops breathing when a Chaeyoung 's hand steadies her by settling into the small of her back

The woman apologized quickly. "Sorry didn't mean to startle you, Chaeng said this was where you'd be."

"Mina this is Yoo Jeongyeon, Jeongyeon this is Mina." Chaeyoung introduce

"Hi" Jeongyeon says with a bright smile, she steps close enough to shake Mina's hand.

"Hello." Mina answers when she manage to find her voice.

Bambam is a tall beautiful woman, she had white skin that goes well with her  eyes that matches her dark brown hair was shining and effortlessly wavy and had this energetic vibe.

"I get the impression that you don't like to be snuck up on Mina" Jeongyeon ask playfully

"It's definitely on my list of things I don't enjoy" Mina answers.

"I Think I can help you with that." Jeongyeon smiles warmly.

"I've asked Jeongyeon to be your bodyguard." Chaeyoung's voice was quiet as it drifts over Mina's shoulder.

Mina was mildly irritated with herself for focusing on that voice and the hand that still rested against her back, rather than what was actually being said.

Her brain kept trying to get stuck on the details the knowledge that if she takes a single step backward she'd collide with Chaeyoung's chest instead of the bigger picture.

"Bodyguard" she repeats dumbly until she realize "Wait! what? You're here to be my bodyguard?"

"Yeep" Jeongyeon replies, popping the last consonant, she walks over to the end of the kitchen island and leans over, placing her elbow on the marble top and then dropping her chin into her hand. "Whaddaya say? Partners in crime?"

Mina didn't see the pointed look Chaeyoung shot at Jeongyeon but she did see Jeongyeon grin widely in response. She was still so bewildered she didn't know what to say.

"I thought you'd be more comfortable having a woman as a bodyguard" Chaeyoung explains.

Her brain finally catches up with the situation. Mina moves away from Chaeyoung and turns so that she could look at both her and Jeongyeon.

"I can't have a bodyguard."

"And yet" Chaeyoung retorts dryly "You do."

"Remember all those things we just talked about?" Mina prods, she was trying to be appropriately vague and still reference the conversation they'd had on the grass. "Those concerns are true for people other than your sister."

Chaeyoung stuffs a hand in her pocket. The look she gives Mina was something close to a smirk.

"Jeongyeon knows" Chaeyoung say nonchalantly.
