"Ryan?" I exclaimed, shocked and terrified at the same time. "Sylvan? You work here? No, no. I'm sorry." Ryan instantly replied, nearly begging. "Shut up or I'll spit in your coffee." I informed him angrily. I walked over to the coffee machine, and Ryan followed me over the counter. "Excuse me sir, please stop following me." But he clinged on like a loyal puppy. Unfortunately for me, Ryan was not so loyal.

"Ryan piss off. I'm making your coffee because I have to. But you don't have to be a creep and ruin my day." I said harshly as I watched the water drip from the coffee machine into the paper cup. "Hey, I know this might be a bad time, because I just met you again. But could we start over? As friends? I just think things didn't work out because we took our relationship too quick." Ryan pleaded. I sighed and raised my eyes to heaven while I poured the almond milk into the cup and stirred it.

"No. We broke up because you wouldn't trust me. You KNEW there was nothing going on between me and Frank. Ypu just needed a reason to be jealous and bitchy." The coffee whizzed around the cup when I'd finished with it. I put a plastic lid on the top of the cup and took it to the counter. Ryan handed me the money and I grumpily gave him his coffee.

Ryan's hand touched mine and something inside me went funny. Fuck. "Please, just message me. Once, that's all I ask for." Ryan asked hopefully, one last time. He looked at me with those eyes, and that fucking smile. Which were the whole reason I had fallen for him in the first place. FUCK. "Okay, okay. Fine." I replied reluctantly. Ryan smiled gratefully and took the coffee. He had a sip and laughed.

"Sylvan, this is delicous! I didn't know you were such an awesome barista." Ryan exclaimed happily. My cheeks felt warm and I felt flustered. Fuck fuck fuck. "Thanks I guess." I calmly replied. "No, thank you." He did an over dramatic bow with a hand sweep and all, doffing his imaginary hat. I chuckled and felt my face go a deeper shade of red. Ryan waved goodbye and left me alone in the front of the store. And also a little bit alone inside.

I walked over the sink to grab some water, because I felt sweaty all of a sudden. I looked down at the ground, which seemed to be further away from my face then normal. Then it was much, much closer to my face as I collided with the floor.

Instead of being at work, I found myself lying in my bed at home, dazed and confused, with the back of my head hurting like HELL. Did my shift end early or some shit? A few seconds later, Frank came bustling in the room with a tray of food and water. "Hey Syl, you're awake. I made you some noodles and a drink." Frank sat the tray down on my bedside table and helped me sit up. "Hey Frank, what happened to me?" I asked since I couldn't remember any after saying goodbye to Ryan at work.

"Well, seems like you passed out. And when you hit the floor you were knocked out by the impact. Lucky you're not concussed. But your head is gonna hurt for a bit. Would you like an ice pack?" Frank offered. I nodded, which I found out was a bad idea. "Oww. Frankie it hurts make it stop please." I groaned. "I'm trying. Now eat your food and drink plenty of water. I want you to feel better." Frank left to get an ice pack and I took my shitty 2 minute noodles from the tray and sat them on my lap. I had a BIG sip of water from the glass and began to eat my noodles.

Frank came back with an ice pack and a tea towel and placed it on my bed's headrest and told me to lean against it so it will help with the bruises on the back of your head, help them get BETTER not worse you retard. Frank plonked himself next to me and we watched youtube on his laptop.

I ate my way through the noodles and gulped down the water, and Frank had gone to get me some cookie dough. I picked up my phone from the beside table and checked it. I went onto snapchat and unblocked Ryan. He saw straight away and sent me a chat.

Ryan: Hey hows it going

Sylvie: not great

Sylvie: i was out cold at work just after u left

Ryan: oh no r u okay?

Sylvie: better but still not great

Ryan: well i hope u feel better soon

Sylvie: thx

There was a pause. Ryan didn't leave but his bitmoji was just hovering there.

Sylvie: this is kinda weird

Ryan: how???

Sylvie: well, maybe cos ur my ex

Ryan: yeah hey i kinda forgot

Ryan: well not forgot

Ryan: more of a don't wanna think abt it

Sylvie: i havent stopped thinking abt it

Ryan: really

Sylvie: yeah

Sylvie: im sorry i shouldn't have said anything

Ryan: its okay dw

Sylvie: franks coming back gtg

Ryan: okay bye!

I left him on open and put my phone back on the table, because Frank was back with cookie dough. "Thank youuu Frankie!" I said in a high pitched girly, kinda like Ray's, voice. I wrapped my arms around the midget and he just laughed. "You're welcome. Who were you texting?" Frank asked being a little sticky beak. "For your information I was talking to Ryan. Is that a problem?" I teased, eating a small ball of cookie dough.

"Maybe. He's your ex boyfriend you know." Frank pointed out. "Well no fucking shit you bloody genius! Congratulations! Do you want a medal?" Frank laughed at my response. "Yes I would. That'd be nice."

An idea struck me. "Hey Frank, how's shit with Gerard?" I asked him. A couple weeks ago Frank had asked Gerard out, but Gee had said no. To be fair, Frank handled it in a 'Frank' way. No fucking wonder Gee said no. But since then, Frank had been 'laying down major groundwork' as he called it.

"Great, thank you Sylvan Miller Trohman. It's actually really great. Oh, by the way, we're going to visit the boys this weekend." Frank told me. "What 'boys'?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, well we're going to Gee and Mikey's, and Pete, Patrick, Ray, Andy, Joe, Dan, Phil and Ollie will be there. I don't know about anyone else though." Frank listed. I thought for a moment. "Hey, can you ask Gee of I can bring Ryan?" Frank made a spluttering noise, spitting everywhere in the process. "What do you wanna bring that fag for!?"

"Oh yeah, as if you can talk Frank Iero!" I sasses back at him. "Oh, are we having a sass off now? I see how it is." Frank slapped my arm and poked me in the eye. "Oh what the fuck!?" I flicked Frank's ears and managed to put him in a successful armlock. "Okay you win! You WIN!" Frank yelped, and I let his arm flop. "Fuck you Sylvan." "Aww, love you too Frankie.
