"Do you wanna go to the park Cassandra?" She nodded smiling with glee as she started to get ready. After putting in her coat Cassandra and her mom made their way to the park, talking animatedly while doing so. As they continued walking, with Cassandra ahead, she started singing. When they finally got there, Cassandra felt like she was on cloud nine. She decided to play on the slide, then the seesaw with her mom and then decided to sit down for a while and rest while her mom sat on a bench talking to someone. As she sat down she noticed something in the distance. It was a big oak tree, with a ancient swing attached to it. Cassandra, being the curious nine year old she is, decided to go and try it. "Mom can I go over there" She asked quietly, whilst pointing the tree. Her mom was so entranced in her conversation, that she didn't realise what her daughter was talking about and replied with a dismissive "yeah" and resumed talking with her friend.
Cassandra made her way to the tree, although it looked quite near it was in a complete desolate area. She glanced around checking to see if anyone was there, and when she saw there wasn't she made her way to the swing and sat down. The swing was quite stable despite its appearance and was able to swing as high as a normal swing. She continued to swing but every other minute she heard a voice. Not knowing what to do she stopped and she looked around nervously. When she saw nothing she started swinging again. But this time the voice came back, but more prominent.
