"And did I tell you that he didn't even offer to pay when the bill came", Aria listened to her best friend Mia tell her another story about another one of her dates as she sat and watched the clock waiting for her shift to end for the night. "Ari! Are you even listening to me" Mia snapped her fingers in front of Aria's face to get her attention. "Yeah girl I'm listening" Aria said snapping out of her daydream. "Mhmm whatever" Mia said rolling her eyes as she took her seat behind the receptionist desk. It was another slow night it seemed at the hospital. Aria just couldn't wait for her 12 hour shift to end so she could go home and relax for the weekend, and she only had 45 more minutes before she could leave. "You're still coming out with me tonight right?" Mia asked Aria as she flipped through People magazine. "Tonight?" Aria questioned. "Yes tonight". "You know I would Mia but I'm tired. I just wanna chill this weekend". "Ari you say that every time. All you do is work and go home. You never have any fun". "I promise" Aria said just to please Mia. "Alright Ari, I'm holding you to that". Mia said going back to her magazine
The two sat and conversed for another 15 minutes before the elevator doors opened and the finest man the two women had ever seen stepped off. He had to stand at least 6'4, smooth carmel skin, and tattoos that perfectly complemented his toned biceps. And by the way he carried himself you could instantly look at him and think power or boss.
Both Aria and Mia fixed themselves as the man made his way over to the desk. He was on the phone barking out orders to whoever was on the other end of the line. "May I help you?" Aria said to him as soon as she heard him pause his conversation briefly. He quickly turned around with his phone still glued to his ear. "Can't you see I'm on the phone" he said before turning his attention back to his phone conversation, and then stepping away from the counter. Aria looked back to see Mia laughing to herself a little."Oh shut up" Aria said throwing up her middle finger and making her way from behind the desk. "I'm going to finish my rounds" As soon she made her way down the hallway the man stepped back over to the counter. Mia looked up from the computer screen and smiled. "May I help you" she said staring at him. "Yeah, what happend to the other girl who was just here?" he said remembering the beautiful woman who he had rudely spoke to a few minutes ago. "I don't think she was feeling your attitude" Mia said laughing to herself a little."My bad about that" he said laughing a too. "I think it's her you should be apologizing to" Mia said. "You right, but can you tell me what room Marcus Orleans is in". "418 down the hall to your left" Mia said pointing down the hall. "Thank you" He said before exiting the desk.

"What's up y'all" Q said entering Marcus's hospital room. "What's good Q" Daevon said dapping him up. Q then went on to hug everyone else in the room including his mother, sister, Marcus, and Marcus's mother. "How you doing Marcus?". "I'm holding up you know" Marcus said adjusting him self in the hospital bed. "Good, you know we're going to get this all handled when you get out, so don't even worry about it" Q said to Marcus before taking a seat next to his mother.
"And where were you when this was happening" Quentin's mother quickly interrupted. "I was out ma, I just found out that this happened" Q said to his mother. "Out where Junior?" His mother said ready to start interrogating, but before she could begin there was a knock on the door.
"Hello" the nurse said entering the room. "I just wanted to check on you Marcus before I left for the night. Is everything alright, can I get you anything?" She asked as she checked to make sure everything was okay. "Nah I'm good, thank you" Marcus replied. "What about any of you, can I get you guys anything?" She asked everyone else in the room. "Your number" Daevon stated laughing along with Quentin and Marcus. The nurse just smiled as she made her exit out of the room.
"Damn she was bad" Daevon said as he slapped hands with Quentin who agreed with him. Quentin sat in the room for another 20 minutes talking to everyone before he decided it was time for him to make his exit. He said his goodbyes to everyone and then made his way out the room. As he was walking down the hallway he saw that the elevator doors were getting ready to shut, so he quickly picked up his pace trying to catch the elevator before it left. He made it just in time stepping into the elevator and noticing the same nurse from the front desk and Marcus's room. She gave him a sideways look as she pressed the elevator button and stepped to the opposite side of the elevator. Quentin laughed to himself as he took in the beauty of this woman. She couldn't have been any taller than 5'6, and had the body of a goddess. Even in her scrubs you could tell she had a small waist and curves in all the right places. With hair flowing down her back and brown skin that looked like it felt like silk.
"My bad about earlier ma, I was just in the middle of something" Quentin said apologizing. "Apology accepted" she said nonchalantly. Just then the elevator doors opened and she stepped off, with Quentin following behind her. Before she could make it out of the front doors Quentin gently grabbed her arm stopping her before she left.
"I'm sorry I didn't get your name ma" Quentin said stopping her. "It's Aria, why" she said with an attitude snatching her arm away. "Aria huh. I like that. I'm Quentin, but you can call me Q" he said reaching out to shake her hand. She eyed his hand not even grabbing it before she continued to speak.
"Look Mr. Quentin, I said I accepted your apology so what is it that you want now" she said giving him an attitude. "Well actions speak louder than words, so let me take you out to show my apology". "Look, I've been at work for 12 hours I just want to.." Before she could finish Quentin cut her off "It ain't gotta be nothing special ma" he said smiling showing off his perfect, straight teeth. Aria, loved a man with a nice smile and seeing his perfect smile she instantly gave in. "Fine be at my house by 8:30, if you're not you can forget it" she said entering her number into his phone once he handed it to her. With that she quickly walked out of the hospital with a smile on her face all the way to her home.
