*Brookes POV*

"It's been two years, I haven't seen him in 2 years", I told Paige as I sobbed...

Im 30, I have 2 children, two girls Miley and Mikayla there the apples of my eyes.. I love them to death. There the only ones I have left. Nick Dobbs my first love, my only love, my husband. Well he was my husband. He served in the army, he was deployed 12 years ago and He-he was killed in an explosion. I was pregnant with our second child at that time, he didnt even make it to Miley's birth. I've been a widow ever since obviously, and I never remarried. Well back to the story.

*Paiges POV*

I calmed Brooke as best I could. She was shaking, after nicks death it was all down hill. She lost her job... She broke her ankle ending her dance career and she has to live with me. I wish Nick had never made that stupid decision to join the army... I stood up and walked to my room I flopped onto my bed and cried into my blanket. Mikey walked in , "what's wrong babe?" He asked. I didn't respond he sat down next to me And rubbed my back. I just lay there choking on my own words... If only nick were here, for Brooke.

*brookes POV*

I kissed Miley good night and walked downstairs. I'm going out I told Paige. Where? She asked. I have no idea I responded and slammed the door shut behind me. I got in my car and drove. I drove anywhere, I had no idea where I just drove.
