Today was my first day at Applewood's new dog school. I was so excited, my owner, Selena, was dropping me off. I may have ran into a mud puddle and gotten her all dirty but that was beside the point. The point was that I was going to be attending, it's my first day too so I wanted to make a good impression. When me and Selena finally arrived, my owner took me off the leash and pointed towards the school building. I ran inside, panting happily.
"Hey, watch it, will you?!" A voice said to me. I looked to see that I had almost ran into a chihuahua.
"Oh, I am so sorry, I didn't see you there," I apologized.
"It's quite alright, I get trampled a lot," the chihuahua said. "My name is Bucky, and you?"
"I'm Kate," I introduced myself. Me and Bucky both shook paws before a poodle came strutting over.
"Are you really gonna strut into class, looking like that?" The poodle asked me.
"Uh maybe," I said. The poodle gave a dramatic gasp.
"That simply won't do, darling, come with me, we need to get you into proper attire, at once!" The poodle said.
"Jeez Cleo, you really have to go all out, huh?" Bucky asked.
"Why of course, it is my duty to make sure all pooches look their best!" Cleo said, dragging me over to a room where automatic baths, fit for dogs of all shapes and sizes, were placed. I hopped in one and the bath seemed to sense I was in it because it whirred and next thing I knew, I was cleaned up. I shook the water off my fur and smiled.
"That was fast," I said. Cleo nodded. Bucky and Cleo decided to give me a tour of the school, it was pretty big for a school for dogs.
"Coming through!" We heard a voice call out. I looked behind me to see a labrador retriever on a skateboard.
"Bennett, watch where you are going!" Cleo called out as we all got out of the way. Bennett soon stopped near a dog sized locker.
"Sorry about that, didn't know how to slow down," Bennett apologized.
"Aren't you suppose to work on your report with Brownie in the computer lab?" Bucky asked.
"Brownie?" I asked.
"She's a dachshund that loves computers," Bucky explained.
"Gotcha," I said. And so, the three of us continued the tour, after a while I felt like we were being followed so I took a quick glance to see behind me and I saw nobody was there. After this went on for a few moments, I heard a voice I didn't recognize yell out.
"Boo!" I looked behind me to see a West Highland White Terrier standing there and jumping to my face. I was pretty startled that I ended up knocking a pile of books over.
"Casper, darling, that wasn't very nice," Cleo scolded him.
"But I'm a ninja!" Casper yipped.
