Once upon a time......
There was a child......
Who got lost in the forbidden domain of the malicious beast.....
Not much is known about this treacherous monster.....
But legend has it.....
Whoever enters its domain....
Will be trapped forever.....cursed for eternity......
However.....
That child......
"Ooo! What happens next?"
"Wow!"
"What kind of monster is that?"
"Where is the forbidden domain located?"
"We wanna know what happens to that child!"
My curious friends from girl scouts who were sitting around the campfire asked, one after another, eagerly waiting for all the answers, wondering what happens next, wanting to know how the story ends.
I, however.....
Don't really wanna know......
What kind of end the story will have.
Because.....
What if.....
It's a sad ending?
I can't.....
I can't stand sad endings......
I just.....
Can't bear to think.....
About what will happen in those scary and tragic stories people tell everyone, especially during Halloween times.
I just walked towards my tent and put on my headphones that played a quite cheerful song.
"I guess I'll sit this one out, but I better go back for the marshmallows later." I thought.
"Huh?" I looked up and saw Amber walking towards me.
"Hey, Tori."
"Amber, why did you come here? Don't you wanna know what happened in that story?"
"If you don't want to know the ending, I don't have to either, plus....."
"I already know the answer, it's gonna be a happy ending, I'm sure of it!"
"How did you know that?"
"You know what? Let's find out the ending together someday!"
That was 5 years ago.....
Even after all this time.....
I'm still....
Not ready to know the ending.....
Phone Rings*
"Hey Amber!"
"Hi Tori, are you going to my Halloween party tonight? Please say you are?" She said.
"You ask me that every Halloween, I guess, as long as there's none of those creepy bloody mummies there, I might consider your offer. You better not think about trapping me in a haunted house or something. Also if there's chocolate shaped like cute bats, I just might." I said.
"I'll absolutely have chocolates for you!" She replied
Amber always tells me about almost everything she does or wants to do, then asks me to do them with her.
