When I got to school I saw many excited people. Eventually the teacher settled them down. "You will be sitting next to your partner." I heard Juliet groan next to me. We all boarded the bus. Me and Juliet chose to go in the very back. I was on my phone for a while and I looked next to me and I saw Juliet sleeping soundly on the window. I gave her my sweater as a pillow so her head doesn't hurt. After a minute she moved her head to my shoulder. After a while we got there and I shook Juliet awake. "Come on, get up." "I'm going."
The class spent 3 hours just walking around. Eventually we went to set up our tents. I messed up at least 5 times until Juliet got tired of it. "Ugh you're slow, move aside." "Okay okay" She put it up in less than 5 minutes.
After we all got our tents up we went around a campfire and the zookeeper told us stories about all the animals, afterwards we got into our sleeping bags. Right before I fell asleep I heard a noise. I looked over to my friend next to me since they were wide awake. "Hey, did you hear that noise?" "No? Are you okay?" "I'm fine, it's probably just in my head." I fell asleep but I was woken up by the noise again. I looked around and saw nothing but an empty cage and people sleeping. Right before I fell asleep I heard whispering next to me. It was my enemy, Juliet. She was hugging her stuffed animal close to her chest. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine." "You sure?" "Yeah? I just heard a strange noise." "I heard it too, I just thought I was going crazy."I grabbed my flashlight from next to me. "Wanna come help me find out what it is?" She looked scared but after a minute she got up and said. "Sure" We both looked around, when we were like 2 feet away from the empty cage she attached herself to my arm. I stopped my movements for a second but then continued to walk. After a minute she realized what she did and immediately detached herself from my arm. "S- Sorry" "it's fine, I don't mind. If you want you can do that." "Okay" She grabbed onto my arm again. When we arrived right in front of the empty cage I looked down at her and she looked scared. I pointed my flashlight inside the cage. We finally saw what was making all that noise. It was a mouse. It only sounded loud because it echoed in that cage. Juliet looked down in embarrassment "sorry I made you come just for a stupid mouse." "It's fine I chose to come." We just stood there in silence for a few minutes. We started to walk back but then I was pulled down by Juliet. "Look at the stars."

She says pointing to them. We both laid down next to each other for a while until. "Juliana" "Yeah?" I said turning to her. "I like you" Before I could respond she pulled me into a kiss. When we pulled away I said "I like you too" "So we're now dating and you can't argue." "Damn okay" "I know you're happy about it." "Pshhhh nooooo" "Mhm sure, I guess we won't date then." "No no I'm happy about it." "That's what I thought." We laughed and then just looked up at the stars. I looked at Juliet and saw her staring at me. "What?" "Nothing, you're just beautiful." After a minute of silence she said something. "When we get back I'm taking you out on a date and you can't protest." "Okay then, can I at least know where?" "No, it's a surprise." She said as she got up and helped me up. She kissed me and then we both walked back to the tent. After we both got into our sleeping bags. I fell asleep shortly after.
