No Angel

The Next Week

Feeling Myself played through Aria's Beat speaker a she continued to get dressed for work. She danced along to the song as she searched her drawers for the scrubs she wanted to wear today. She settled on a pair of baby blue scrub pants with a white undershirt and her lab coat. She fixed her hair into a neat high ponytail and put on some mascara and eyeliner. In the middle of putting on her lip gloss she heard her text notification go off. She checked her phone seeing the text message from Q. Be there in less than 5 minutes, the text read. She looked at the time seeing that it was 6:20 and put on her shoes, and grabbed all her belongings for work. Once she walked out of her room and turned off the lights she heard a knock on the door. She went to open it seeing Q standing at the door.

"You're here on time" Aria said looking down at her watch seeing that it was 6:28. "And you're actually ready" Q said back in response. She rolled her eyes before laughing. "Let's go" she said pushing Q out of the door and closing it behind her.

They got down to Q's car and he opened the door for her before jogging over to his side and pulled off. "You want some breakfast or something" Q asked Aria. "I don't usually eat breakfast" Aria told Q while checking herself in the mirror. "Why not? You know breakfast is the most important meal of the day" Q said looking over at Aria as they stopped at a light. "I never really think to get it". "Well you need to eat something, so what do you want" Q asked Aria. "Right now?" Aria asked. "Yes right now" Q said. "Umm Chick-fil-a" Aria answered.

Within minutes they pulled into Chick-fil-a's drive thru and placed there orders. Once they got their food they began to eat as Q drove Aria to the hospital. When they pulled up Aria placed all of the garbage into the bag to throw away. "I go on lunch at 1" Aria said to Q before getting out of the car. Q just nodded his head in response. Aria closed the door and headed into the building. Aria waved at the front desk receptionist of the hospital before hopping on the elevator. Once she got to her floor she clocked in before starting her rounds. When she finished she went behind the receptionist desk to check the time. It was only 8:00. She sat and looked through a magazine waiting for 9:00 to come, which was when Mia came in. At 8:55 Mia finally came walking out of the elevator. Aria practically jumped out of her seat to greet her best friend who greeted her with the same excitement.

"Biiiiitttchhhh, I got some things to tell you" was the first thing Mia said to Aria when she saw her. Aria laughed already knowing Mia was going to tell her about her night. "Well go clock in first of all before you're late" Aria said pointing to the clock showing that it was already 8:57. Mia laughed and then went to clock in. When she finally came back she took a seat next to Aria and grinned.

"Soooo" Aria said anxious to hear what Mia had to say. Mia smiled again before laughing and then starting her story. "Ari I swear this nigga had the best dick I ever had" Mia said making Aria crack up. "Stop Mi" Aria said almost crying laughing. "What Ari. I'm not lying. And he got money too. I think I'm in love" Mia said causing Aria to laugh even harder. The two sat and talked between going to check on patients, just catching up. Before Aria knew it it was 1:00 and time for her lunch. She went to clock out and grab her purse before heading out to the front.

As soon as she walked outside she saw Q parked in the front. She knocked on the tinted windows knowing that the doors was locked and quickly heard them unlock. When she entered the car she saw Q was on the phone and decided to stay quiet until he got off of the phone. She picked up her phone and started to look through instagram. When he finally got off the phone he placed it back into the cup holder of his car and looked over at Aria.. He tapped her thigh to get her attention "What's up ma" he said calmly as he continued to drive. Aria looked up from her phone and smiled. "Hey" she said back. "What do you want for lunch" He asked. "Subway is fine" Aria said pointing to the subway that was right ahead. Q pulled into the subway parking lot as the two got out of the car. They both ordered their food before Q payed for it. They sat in the restaurant and ate as they both filled each other in on how their day was going. Once they finished Q dropped Aria back off at work. When 7:00 came around Aria nearly rushed out of the door to get home. Just as she expected Q was sitting out front on time. She got into the car as Q greeted her. Q dropped Aria off at home and then went his separate way.

This routine went on for the rest of week. Q would pick Aria up in the morning, treat her to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, then drop her off.
