A city of culture, religious sites, and older then time itself,
At least that's how it looked, based on the dilapidated structures and the rusting metal pieces everywhere,
TK-3672 sat on a street corner as he had been for three hours now, doing the menial business of checking identification of individuals leaving the local spaceport.
The hot sun had been beaming down on the city nonstop, turning the place into what was essentially
"Why in the Emperor's name are we even here in the first place?" He grunted.
"To preserve order.... obviously!" TK-3675 said from next to him, in a mocking tone, and followed with a short chuckle.
The "preserve order" shtick was always used when it came to the Empire occupying star systems, at this point it was almost like a running joke in the unit.
TK-3675 was his fellow squadmate, and kindred spirit that had to join him in this sandy frying pan.
"What are you two pieces of Bantha fodder bellyaching about now!" A loud voice said
It was at that point that '72 realized his comms were still on,
"Oh, Sargent, just commenting on how the Empire keeps order in every system" 75 said into the mic,
"Oh, yeah, yeah sure....
I swear, if I hear you two bellyache again, you two will be cleaning speeders for the next month!" The Sargent said.
