~ Clove's P.O.V ~ (Ciara)
Crito twirled his finger in the air, motioning me to twirl around for him again. The gold suit was a bit heavy, but nothing I couldn't handle. I thought it was the most beautiful outfit I have ever seen in my life, way better than the other tributes in the past few Games. When he had finished with the gold makeup he led me out of the room to our carriage.
Cato was already waiting there in a matching gold suit but he had a sort of crown where as I had a helmet. We truly looked god-like, Cato and I were a shoe in to be the Capitol's favourites. Cato was staring at Glimmer, who was checking herself out in a mirror. I rolled my eyes as our stylists, mentors and Aviana walked over to us.
"Now, I want you to wave at the crowd, and seem intimidating to the other tributes." Enobaria explained. I nodded my head and myself and Cato climbed into the horse pulled carriage.
We pulled out behind District 1 into the massive hall filled with screaming Capitol people with their colourful hairdo's and outfits. Myself and Cato started waving to the roaring crowd as we were pulled closer to some sort of balcony and on it was President Snow. People screamed our names and pointed, Cato and I waved. The more carriages there were, the more I noticed how District 2 captured the audience.
Suddenly there was eruption from the crowd, I looked into one of the mirrors and I regretted it, there she was, Katniss, and she was on fire. Honestly, she was beautiful, the fire made her skin light up, her hair was in braids all over her head, the black suit fitted her tightly showing her curves.
Suddenly I was filled with rage, you are so dead I thought. She was stealing all the attention, the crowd was focused on us until 'fire girl' pulled out on her carriage next to the boy from 12 who was also on fire.
She caught a rose in one hand and held the boy's hand in the other, when they lifted their interlocked hands the crowd went wild. I glared as I continued to wave at the crowd, trying to draw the attention back to us, but to no avail, The Capitol was fixed on District 12.
We arrived in front of the balcony to hear President Snow's speech, by that time, I was fuming.
"Welcome! Tributes, we welcome you. We salute your courage and your sacrifice, and we wish you Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favour."
As we pulled out Cato and I looked at eachother then I shot a glance at fire girl to see her staring at me, I put on a hard glare as we pulled out of the hall.
We met up with our stylists, mentors and Aviana after we got of the carriage, I was still glaring.
Cato was ignoring what they were saying and was staring at District 12 with a smirk, I looked at Katniss and as soon as she looked at me, I glanced somewhere else.
I was already planning how to kill her, I swear 'fire girl', I will kill you, and I don't care how.
