Dream

"Whatchudoin?" I asked, wrapping my arms across my boyfriend's shoulders as he stared down at the book he was reading. I inhaled deeply into his dark black hair, the lemon and sandalwood scent reminding me of home.

"Reading." He said distractedly. "I assume you have done it before?"

"Eh, you know, mostly about how to take over the world." I said, and he chuckled.

"You know, Dream, maybe your need for blind obedience is what makes you so friendless." Gogy said, and I scoffed, moving my head from his hair to his neck.

"I don't need friends when I have you." I said, and I could practically feel the heat rising from his cheeks.

"What about Sap?" He asked, and I scoffed again, accidentally blowing on the pages of his book.

"He is more of a third wheel." I said.

"Can I please read now?" George asked, running out of things to stay.

"Ugh, fine, I guess, if my boyfriend doesn't want my charming presence, I will leave." I groaned, kissing his cheek before walking over to our shared bed and plopping down onto it. Our whole room was painted in forest green and sea blue, which Is what happens when you let your annoying friend/roommate decorate your bedroom.

But as long as Gogy was here, I didn't care what the room looked like, just that it was ours.

"I can feel you staring at me." He said, nose still deep in the pages.

"Am I not able to enjoy the view?" I asked playfully, smiling when he hid his beet red face behind his shaggy hair.

Before he could say anything, there was a knock at the door.

"You're both dressed, right? And PG, and all that —." Sapnap said from the other side of the door.

"Don't worry, we're just in a heavy makeout sesh, wanna join?" I asked, making Gogy's face turn, somehow, even redder.

"Dream." He groaned as the door opened.

"I am going out with Karl tonight and will be home late. Don't burn the house down while I'm gone," He said before closing it again.

"Since when is Sap the responsible one?" Gogy asked, looking up from his book.

"Aw, come on! I have been trying to get you to pay attention to me for hours, and Sapnap got you with two sentences? I feel cheated." Gogy put his book on our desk and walked over to the bed, putting his hands on my knees and leaning towards me.

"Aww, my little baby, did I hurt your feelings?" He asked, dark eyes sparkling.

"Yes. I need you to kiss it better." I said, leaning forward. Our lips met, and he laughed into my mouth. For so long, I had denied my feelings for him, telling myself he couldn't reciprocate them, that I was just a joke to him. But this was exactly where I wanted to be, and I kicked myself everyday for taking so long to realize that fact. I wanted him to be with me forever.

"I love you, Gogy." I said in the moments our mouths broke apart so we could breathe, and he smiled. I had told him before, over and over, but each time I felt the same jolt as the first.

"I know, Clay." He said, sitting on my lap. I fell backwards on our bed, with him toppling beside me. We just laid there, intertwined, listening to each other breathe.

"Let's go out tonight." George said suddenly, and I looked over at him.

"Yeah, what are you in the mood for?" I asked, taking his hand.
