Maddie sat on the floor of the shower as Riley walked into the bathroom. She looked to her sister and titled her head to the side
"Why are you sitting on the floor" Riley asked as Maddie lifted her head
"Avoiding barbie" Maddie said as he chuckled
"I know that things are hard but it will be okay" Riley said as Maddie rested her head on Riley's shoulder and smiled. She knew what a mess it was

Maddie sat in the gallery as she sat watching Meredith in heart surgery as Riley sat next to her and smiled. L
"you okay you were gone early" maddie said as Meredith smiled
"yeah I had to be somewhere" Meredith said
"I wish I could hold a heart" George said
"A monkey could hold a heart" cristina said
"yeah where's alex when you need him" Riley said
"You're mad Burke didn't ask you" George said to Cristina
"George, I need more ice and chips" Izzie said
"Who else did you invite?" George asked
"Izzie, we said the list was jocks only. Surgery, Trauma, Plastics. Who else?" Cristina said
"Just some people from Peds"
"You invited the preschoolers to Meredith's house. The next thing you'll say is you invited the shrinks" cristina said as Izzie looks away
"She invited mental defects. This party's D.O.A" maddie said
"You know, Meredith thinks this is just going to be a little, small, meet-your-boyfriend cocktail thing. Did you clear this with her?" George asked
"No, but I will" izzie said George and Cristina give her a look
"I promise" Izzie said as maddir shot her a glared
"Why are you wasting the only weekend your boyfriend is in town on a big party? Is he bad in bed?" Cristina asked
"must be" maddir said
"No. I just want him to meet some of my friends" Izzie said as Riley scoffed
"What friends" Riley said
"Right. Sixty geeks in scrubs are your friends" cristina said as Her beeper goes off. She gets up to leave
"Bad sex, sucks for you" maddie said
"I heard there was a party tonight at Meredith's house" alex said as he walked in
"Oh really, party?" Maddie asked
"Uh, news to me" Izzie said "No party" George said
"Are we losing her or what?" Alex asked as he looked to the patient on the table
