A/N: The picture is of Quinn! I hope you all like this story and a big thank you to BandObsessed_Boy for the storyline idea. Love you <3
"Dude, that gig was so rad." Quinn laughed, clinging tightly to my arm as we walked to my car.
"It was. I had a fucking amazing time." I smiled down at her.
We reached my car and Quinn got in the passenger side as I got in the driver's side.
I started the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
We were driving down the LA highway when I began to feel tired.
"I think I need to pull over. I'm really tired." I sighed.
"We'll be home soon. You'll be fine." Quinn smiled.
I took her word for it, but was still unsure.
I kept driving.
I pulled off the highway and turned down a few blocks.
I stopped at a junction and looked both ways. I saw it was clear, so I pulled out.
It wasn't clear...
"ANDY!!"It was Saturday.
I woke up and got dressed, ate some breakfast and quickly left the house.
I got in the car and drive to the hospital, just like I had done every Saturday for the past two years.
I went straight up to the ward, knowing all too well where it was.
I sat in the chair next to her bed after letting a doctor know I was here.
"Hey Quinn..." I sighed. "I miss you."
I sat with her, talking about my week as I always did.
After I pulled out of that junction on that Saturday night, I didn't see the other car hurtling down the street. It crashed straight into Quinn's door and sent the car spinning three times. I didn't get too badly hurt but there I was, visiting my best friend of thirteen years in the hospital because of my stupid mistake...
She'd been in a coma for two years and I visited her every Saturday because the truth was... I loved her...
I wished I'd told her before all this happened.
I wished this never happened in the first place...
"You know I love you, Quinn. You know I want nothing more than to call you mine. I wish I pulled over that night. All of this could've been avoided. It's all my fault..." I sniffed, feeling tears sting in my eyes. "I miss you everyday and I hate that I put you in this place."
"Andy?" A nurse called from round the curtain.
I opened it and smiled at her.
This was the nurse who had tended to my Quinn everyday since she was admitted to the hospital.
"Hello Fluer." I smiled, sadly. "Is there any change?"
She shook her head. "I'm sorry, Andy. She's still exactly the same."
I asked her that every week and the answer was still the same...
It was all my fault...
"You know you don't have to come here every week. I'm sure she knows you care about her even though you're not with her." Fluer said.
"You've already slimmed down my visits to once a week. I can't come here any less. My depression can't take that." I replied.
"It's not doing you any better coming here as much as you do." She retorted.
For the first month that Quinn was in hospital, I visited everyday. But Fluer had convinced me to come less as I started to skip rehearsals, signings, even shows and sleep to be with my love.
It should've been me in that bed...
