Orphaned when she was only two years old, Bryseis Harrows was a shy yet intelligent Tiefling, born in the Human Kingdom of Xaebaneian, ruled by the old King Cynemær. But unlike the humans that lead modest to extremely privileged lives, she and the other Tieflings lead a life of poverty and fear. The Tieflings born in Xaebaneion were in grave danger, as they were scooped off the streets to be experimented and tested on, due to the fact that they were the only race that was like a pest in the Human kingdom. Races such as Orcs and Elves and others, they weren't a problem, they came and they left, but the Tieflings, that was different. They came, but they never seemed to leave as the population of Tieflings rapidly increased over the last couple of years. The Humans wanted to find the reason for the 'infestation' by executing tests on Tieflings and examining their genes.

At just two years old, Bryseis' parents were shot and killed by the authorities due to interracial marriage, her mother was a human, and her father was a Demon. After that, they shot her with a tranquilliser gun and took her to the testing facility. There, she spent her years until she was 16 years old, alone in a cell, with only a military grade training dummy as a source of amusement, so that is what she used. Over the years that se spent there, she trained and trained and trained all in the hope of getting out of that rotten, filthy place. Eventually, she did get out, but it was by far not in the way she expected.

One day, two of the Kings advisors, Presley and Edgar, came to the facility. At first, Bry thought they just came to check on the progress that they had made in their research about Tieflings, but it turned out that they came for her. They came to make her an offer. She could either go with them and train to become the Kings personal spy/assassin, or she could stay locked up there forever and rot away. Naturally she loathed the humans for what they'd done to her and her kin, but she was by no means stupid, this might be her one and only chance of getting out without endangering her life, so she went with them, not knowing what to expect next...
