Twenty-Nine

Mina' POV

Mina's parents were thrilled to see their daughter and her friends at the party. They welcomed each of the girls with bright smiles, expressing how happy they were to have them there.

"Happy birthday, Mrs. Myoui," Tzuyu said and the girls greeted her too.

Mrs. Myoui beamed with joy as she hugged each of the girls. "Thank you so much, girls! I'm so happy to have you all here to celebrate with me," she said.

Mina's father, Mr. Myoui, also came over to greet them. "Thank you for coming, girls. It means a lot to us," he said with a smile.

The girls all smiled. "Thank you for having us, Mr. and Mrs. Myoui!" they said in unison.

Mina's parents led them to the living room where the birthday celebration was taking place. There were balloons, streamers, and a beautiful cake with candles on it. The girls couldn't help but feel excited for the party.

They sat down and chatted while waiting for the other guests to arrive.

"Wow! This quite grand, Mina" Nayeon said in awe as she looked around.

"This is not a house, Mina. This is a palace." Jeongyeon said.

Mina chuckled. "Well, my parents do like to go all out," she said with a smile.

Girls looked around in amazement. The Myoui residence was indeed impressive. The spacious rooms, intricate decorations, and luxurious furnishings made them feel like they had stepped into a palace. 

"It's beautiful," Dahyun said softly.

Mina smiled, proud of her family's home. "Thank you, Dahyun," she said.

"I can't believe how big this place is," Chaeyoung said, still looking around in awe.

"It's definitely a step up from my apartment," Jihyo joked, earning a laugh from the others.

"Please, help yourselves, girls," Mrs. Myoui said warmly.

As they all took their seats, Mina leaned over to Tzuyu. "Thank you for coming with me today," she whispered and held Tzuyu's hand.

Tzuyu smiled back. "I'm glad I could be here for your mom's birthday," she said. 

Mina squeezed Tzuyu's hand gently, grateful for her presence. "You don't know how you make things better, Tzu," she whispered back, before turning her attention back to the rest of the table. 

Tzuyu looked at her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Soo cheesy," then she smiled. That didn't escape from her unnies eyes.

Dahyun raised an eyebrow. "Well, well, well. What do we have here?" she teased, nudging Chaeyoung who was sitting next to her.

Chaeyoung giggled and joined in on the teasing. "Looks like our Tzuyu is getting a little lovey-dovey," she said with a grin.

Tzuyu blushed slightly but couldn't help but smile at the playful banter. "Hey, don't make fun of us," she said, trying to sound stern but failing to suppress a giggle.

Jihyo raised her eyebrows too at Tzuyu's display of affection. "Oh la la, someone's feeling romantic today," she teased.

Nayeon, who was sitting across from them, smiling mischievously. "Looks like something is going on between you two," she teased.

Both of them blushed and Tzuyu nudged Mina playfully. "Don't listen to them," she said with a smile.

But the other girls couldn't resist joining in on the fun. "Yeah, Mina marry Tzuyu already," Jeongyeon added with a smirk.
