Book 2 - chapter 1

Previously :
- I love you. Jasper whispered into my ear.
I closed my eyes , nothing could've made this moment any more perfect.
NOW :
I ran inside the school as the bell rang. I bursted in the class room out of breath and directly sat on my chair, next to Jasper. The teacher just looked at me before he talked again. Happily I didn't have to explain why I was late. I wasn't even supposed to be there, I was basically ( sorry if I didn't spell it right;) ) planning on ditching. But something went wrong so I decided to come here.
I set my things on the desk and stayed silent until Jasper gently pushed me. I turned to him as he asked :
- Where have you been ?
- I just over-slept. I simply said and turned back to listen to what the teacher was saying.
Jasper didn't say anything back but looked at me weirdly the whole hour.
At lunch time, I decided to go on the parking lot and just sit there. I sarted doing my homework but my mind was somewhere else, it actualy was with Jake. I heard foosteps and turned to look even if I knew it was Jasper.
- What's wrong ? He asked after sitting next to me.
I sighed, I knew he wouldn't give up until I told him.
- I had a fight with Jacob. I finally said. He...he said that I was completly stupid to hang out with you all and that if you turned me, I shouldn't think of him as a friend anymore.
- I'm so sorry. He simply said
- I thought he was my friend. I bursted into tears as Jasper held me in his arms.
Since Victoria was killed, everything was great, I had friends, a family, and Jasper. But Jacob broke it. I hated him so much for saying this to me and for not being able to get over some stupid rules. Even if vampires and werewolves aren't supposed to get along, we could've been the exception. We coud've been friends even if one day I would be turned.
I guessed that from now on I could only rely on the Cullens.
