Under the dark spell (continued)

Surprise for Veer

Veer get up in the morning after a sleep and found calls of bani in his  phone.

He was about to call her back when he look at the time on watch. He was already late for his conference meeting. He take a quick bath and left .

Now bani was waiting for veer's call who didn't call her back. She called him again but his phone was on another call.

Bani was sitting upset in her room as her heart was getting restless for listening veers voice, on the other side veer was busy in his meeting.
There he met a man named Jai who is going to work as his patner for the project.

J - hey veer nice to meet you

V- nice to meet you jai . Where are you from.

J- from India, Mumbai. Last year only I shift here.

V- I am also from the same place.

J- great. So let's discuss about the project.

While they were discussing bani's messaged popped in veers Phone due to which his phone shines. Jai's gaze fell there and he looked at the walpaper.

J- sorry to disturb you but who is this lady on the walpaper with you.

V- I think this question is not related to our business deal. Excuse me.

J- but still I want to know

V- she is my wife bani.

J- what

Veer looked at changed expressions of jai after listening bani's name. He was lost somewhere.
' Bani taneja ' jai whisper to himself but veer couldn't hear it.

V- what happen. Did you know her from before.

J-  Let's continue what we were talking about.

Jai said this ignoring the question.

After an hour jai came outside as soon as the meeting was over. He was still thinking about the walpaper in veers Phone.

Jai- how it could be possible.  Mai yaha new york kya shift hua Us bani ne veer se shadi karli .

Jai saw veer who was talking on his phone standing on the balcony.

V- sorry sweetheart mai meeting me busy tha.

B- tumhe maine kitne calls kiye pata bhi hai. Tum mujhe bhool gaye na vaha jakar , you don't care for me even a little.

V- bani please don't start again. Mai kyu bhoolunga tumhe, pyaar karta hu tumse. I swear Mai subah late utha or turant meeting ke liye nikalna pada. Kya ho gaya hai tumhe I thought my wife is quite understanding.

B- mai ab bhi tumse naraz hu Just  because of your behaviour . I feel so embarassed tumne sabke samne mujhe Aisa bola ki mai har time drama karti hu.

V- you know what mai tumhe mana kar thak gaya hu. Jab tumhara mood theek ho jaye ab tabhi call karna mujhe. Byee.

Veer cut the call saying this.

' hadd hai matlab is ladki ko kisi na kisi baat par har time behes hi karni hai. Maine 50+ calls ki or usne meri ek bhi nahi uthayi to maine to koi complain nahi ki ' veer murmured to himself and jai heard everything.

V- Jai tum yaha

J- vo kuch or important details discuss karni thi to tere call cut karne ka wait kar raha tha.

V- yeah coming

Bani threw her phone aside on table
B- messages par manane ka kya fayda atleast he can say sorry to me on call. End me sara stress mujh par hi to nikalta hai. Mai hi pagal thi jo call kiya.
