Mhm. Yup.

"You haven't met a single person here to talk with?" Ferid asked, actually surprised.

"For a few months I had a friend..." Y/n explained mindlessly, almost as if she had done it before, "But then he died."

A silence fell over the two for a short while until Ferid decided to break it.

"Well, now you have me," he seemed more than happy to say, "That is, on one condition."

Y/n finally turned to fully look at Ferid. She had a hopeful gleam in her eyes.

"I'll give you whatever you want... as long as you give me your blood."

"Okay," Y/n was a little too quick to agree.

Ferid grinned, humming a snicker of a laugh. He might have left out a little detail of their deal, but it seemed a bit too late now to say that.

Plus, he imagined that Y/n wouldn't say no anyway.

Ferid walked Y/n around his manor, giving Y/n a little tour.

"Is there anything you want already, doll?" Ferid asked at one point. He quite enjoyed giving Y/n cute pet names, and he even more got a kick out of Y/n's reactions to them.

Y/n was quiet for a while, "Books."

"Books?" Ferid was a wee bit confused.

"Yeah..." Y/n nodded, "It's a bit boring outside of your manor," she admitted.

Ferid kept his mouth shut. He had made a few deals with children before and they had requested food, or toys, sometimes even chalk.

But Y/n wanted books.

...Books...

"Very well then," Ferid spoke, his tone slightly sarcastically concerned, "You may have your books, after I get some of your blood."

Y/n frowned, "Alright..." she acknowledged their deal once more and followed the vampire to another small lounge room.

Ferid held the door open for Y/n to go in first. Then the taller male followed the short girl into the room. He shut the door behind them and walked over to stand behind Y/n. Ferid slowly and gently wrapped his arms around Y/n, making the girl question what the noble was doing.

Ferid quickly unzipped the top of Y/n's thick white and grey jacket dress thing, allowing him access to Y/n's shoulder more easily.

"What are you doing, lord Feri-"

Y/n didn't get the chance to finish before Ferid tugged at the corner of Y/n's jacket dress, revealing Y/n's soft skin. He wasted no time in biting down on the skin between Y/n's shoulder and neck, earning a gasp from the girl.

Y/n whimpered as the vampire dug his sharp teeth into Y/n's flesh until he drew a steady stream of blood. His grip around Y/n's waist tightened, and his hand that held Y/n's upper body by her collar bone pressed the girl more against Ferid's chest.

Y/n's breath became more jagged as Ferid filled his stomach with Y/n's sugary sweet metallic blood. Hell, her blood was sweeter than a young child's'. It was strange. Good, but strange.

Ferid kept drinking the red liquid until Y/n was dizzy, and Ferid had to pretty much hold most of Y/n's weight. He Stopped, taking a small breath, the warm air tickling Y/n's neck. Ferid gave one last lick to the tender area, lapping up any extra blood.

Y/n took heavy breaths as she leaned her head back into Ferid's shoulder. She closed her eyes, hoping to ease the throbbing headache forming and the black dots that covered her vision when her eyes were open. She had never had that much blood taken before. Or in that way.

"You did a good job," Ferid whispered into Y/n's ear, some kind of unexplained proudness and delight filling his senses.

Y/n hummed in acknowledgement as she let Ferid hold even more of her body weight. A wave of exhaustion rolled over Y/n, and she really couldn't think to put her mind to use as of the moment.

"Hmph," the silver-haired male grinned, "I suppose you can rest for a while. Your books won't go anywhere."

Y/n took Ferid's advice as she quickly drifted into unconsciousness.

Y/n groaned softly. She turned to lay on her stomach, hugging what seemed to be a pillow under her head. She stretched a bit, but still laid where she was. Y/n was so comfortable...

Too comfortable.

Y/n peeked her eyes open to see she was lying in a fancy bed that had many pillows. The silk blankets were royal blue. The bed frame was made of an expensive dark wood, ebony. In the room itself other than the large bed was a fireplace on the other side of the room. In front of the fireplace was a fancy coffee table that adorned a beautiful vase of white roses on top.

Luxurious couches and wingback chairs surrounded the coffee table. On the left side of the room was a decent sized desk with gold handlebars that stuck out to Y/n. On the left of the bed was a door that led to a large bathroom, and in the bathroom lead to another door that was a walk-in closet.

On the right of the room was the tall door that Y/n assumed led out into the hallway. She had no intention though of leaving anytime soon.

Well, until her stomach growled, hungry for food, and her body told her that she needed water. Lots of water.

Y/n sluggishly got out of bed, stumbling her way to the door. She hesitated for a second before turning the doorknob and peeking out into the hallway. Down the left of the hallway was nothing but endless doors, but to the right she saw Ferid talking to some robed men.

She watched as Ferid pointed down the hallway before the robed vampires walked away in that direction, leaving their master there alone with a hand on his hip as he sighed. The noble watched his servants walk away before he looked down the other end of the hallway, seeing Y/n for a split second before the same girl quickly shut the door quietly.

Y/n didn't know why but when she made eye contact with Ferid her heart skipped a beat and she panicked, even if she only saw Ferid for a fraction of a second.

A knock on the door made Y/n's heart speed up even faster.

"Y/n?"

"Uhm..." She stuttered, "Y-yeah?"

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah," Y/n said.

"Then can you open the door? You should eat something, doll. Then you can get your books."

Right... the books.
