"It has been a great day at school! Right, guys?", the nerd, Jake, commented happily in a cheerful mode.
"Yeah... not. I had the worst punishments! I mean... what's wrong with pranks?", class clown, Xavier, sighed.
"Eh. Dunno.", the shy girl, Amy, mumbled.
"Let's crank some 90s!", Jake suggested.
"Not if I crank you first!", Xavier chimed along.
"Ok...", was all Amy replied.
"Shoot, it's my phone... wait. Our teacher... has sent a letter... to us three.", Xavier was dead in shock, hallucinations in his brain.
"Gimme that! Woah... it says...
'Dear Jake, Xavier and Amy,
I am about to retire from school, but I believe you three are chosen to see my attic. This task is optional, but you can do it. In the attic you will find a cassette tape. But be warned, if you watch the first tape, there is no turning back. Use Jake for codes, Xavier for flexibility and Amy for self consciousness. Remember. There. Is. No. Turning. Back.
Your lovely teacher,
Ms. Rita'
Oh wow, that is quite scary."
"Ooh... there must be a horror movie in that tape!", Xavier smugly rubbed his hands with glee.
"I'm scared. Self consciousness? Brains? Flexibility? Why does this sound like trying to survive in an attic?!", Amy shivered, goosebumps appeared.
"Amy... Amy. It's just a cassette tape! I mean, what could go wrong?", Xavier joked around.
"Wait... what's the address? Oh, I didn't read this part. 'Greyhound Avenue, No. 346', I guess.", Jake shrugs.
"Come on, let's go!", Xavier urged.
The trio booked a taxi, and paid the ride.
"Can we go to Greyhound Avenue?", Jake requests.
"Sure thing.", the driver replies.
The driver had a nice and fit moustache, and brown hair. He looked like an Aussie. The only bad thing about him is his excessive eating.
"Woah, he eats a lot,", Amy gasps, looking at all the treasures of fast food meals, sushi, fish and all.
"Wow, he's making me hungry... too bad I ate all my recess and lunch.", Xavier grumbled.
"Shush! I am trying to do my homework!", the nerd chastised both of the drooling students.
"Ok, Jay boy. Ok.", Xavier tries to calm him down.
"We're here! Hope you have fun!", the driver bids the three farewell.
"Bye!", Amy happily bids back farewell.
"Ok, let's find No. 346. No. 346... nope. That's No. 155.", Jake started scavenging for the house number.
"How long do we have to find three digit numbers?", Xavier groans.
"Patience.", Amy replies.
After a while, they found the exact house number. The house looked dusty, old, and dull.
"Wow, this house isn't cleaned enough.", Jake implies.
"Imagine having arachnophobia!", Xavier laughs.
"Erm...", Amy shivers.
"Wow... I found the attic...", Jake looks at the attic, it had a lot of stuff in it, but most importantly, where is the tape?
"No tape,", Xavier sighs. "I was hoping for horror movies..."
"Maybe... it was just an accidental message? Or maybe... a prank?", Amy suggests.
"Maybe... I think we will just do our homework. At home.", Xavier hung his head down, dismayed.
"No, we must keep finding, we have barely explored a percent in this attic!", Jake insists.
"Ok, let's keep finding it.", Xavier mumbles.
The three continued searching. Will they be able to find the cassette?
Author's note: Hey guys. To be honest, I feel like writing Chapter 1, instead of a Prologue. But... this is a prologue! I hope you all have a fantastic day. I will start writing Chapter 1 in 1-10 days. Promise.
