His attention snaps to me.

Turning slowly to look down at me..

"You saw me obliterate that worm for looking at me, yet you still continue to do so? Who are you?"

"I am Y/N Tohsaka, daughter of Tokiomi"

I announce myself, unintentionally copying his well-spokeness.

"As my duty to Tokiomi, i will spare you... for now"

Oh thank god.

He lowers himself to my level, so thankfully i no longer have to crane my neck to look up at him..

Well, he came down almost to my level..

He's standing on a bench for some reason.

"But, still i would like to know, what makes you think you're worthy to remain in my presence?"

How on earth do i answer that kind of question?

Just try the typical avoiding method of answering a question with a question..

"How could somebody prove something like that through words?"

I suppose confidence is half the battle...

The other half is probably knowing what the hell is happening.

"I suppose that's enough of an answer.. you don't seem like your father" he says tilting his head at me, like an interested puppy.

Before he dematerialises into golden dust.

It feels like my heart is beating a thousand times a minute.

I take a deep breath, trying to calm myself,

..I think i just stared into the face of god.

What i'm supposed to do now.?

I'll just.. go back to bed, i guess.

Gilgamesh unveils his glamour, walking back into Tokiomi's office..

"These games of yours are tiresome, and squander my precious time, Tokiomi"

Tokiomi responds by bowing and telling his servant "I am very grateful, Your Highness. Your deeds tonight will reveal which of our foes we must eliminate first, i ask only that you stay your hand a little while longer"

But it is clear Gilgamesh is not happy with the answer he was given..

Or maybe just not happy with his master in general.

"Very well, i shall find another way to amuse myself for now... The modern world is unspeakably ugly.. But that's fine, in its own way."

He continued to pace, glancing around Tokiomi's office as he continued speaking..

"What's important is whether any of the treasures available here are truly worthy of me... if i find there is nothing in this world that deserves my adoration, you will pay dearly for summoning me"

He then goes to dismiss himself, but stops to consider the subject that had been nagging at his mind..

"Your daughter, what of her?"

"You've seen her-? .She insisted on accompanying me, i assure you her presence will serve as no interference towards our goal"

Tokiomi responds, clearly holding his tongue..

Gilgamesh is once again very disappointed with the answer, maybe he expected more.

"I see..." is the only acknowledgment Gilgamesh gives, before he exits the room..

Planning to figure things out for himself.
