Placing on her NerveGear, and starting the game, she spoke two words.
"Link start!"
Entering the game, Ailee had a new look, guess this is what avatars would look like then, she thought. Running off, she had already began questing with the right equipment she needed. Right after she turned in her quest, she and other plays were transported to the Town of Beginnings. A red dome appeared and a man in a cloak began to speak, of why people wondered why there wasn't a log out button. In order for everyone to log out, one player or a guild must beat the game. Arguments filled the dome, then everyone was given a gift. Looking in the mirror, Ailee was no longer her avatar anymore, she was actually herself. As soon everything was said, everyone began to go off. Ailee equipped her cloak above the armor and went of questing once more.
Already beating a boss, she looked back and saw a large group of men and a cloaked figure, the boy with dark hair and herself made direct eye contact. She ripped that contact apart by entering the next level of the game. Sword Art Online is a strategy game, Ailee thought things through before doing any quests. She checked the blacksmiths, the market, the merchants and scanned the dungeons. A group of men came up to her.
"You! How did you get to this floor level so quickly?!" The swordsman spoke, they awaited an answer. Until she finally spoke up. "I do things independently." Ailee walked passed them, they had requested her to join their guild but denied the Assault Team's offer. Before she turned the corner, she heard them give her a name.
The Independent Swordswoman.
On the eleventh floor, she laid back seeing that same dark haired boy fighting off enemies. But scanning them, he was a lot higher than the other people in his guild. Those below the boy's level died, leaving him in despair. Ailee went in, using her combo. Slice, kick, slice, swing and slice. The boy watched her kill the enemies before her. Seeing the amazement, it made him slightly forget about what happened to his friends.
"H-Hey." The boy walked up to the girl. The cloaked swordswoman looked at him. "M-My names Kirito.." Looking at him, his name was Kirito. She didn't give him her name, she responded as;
"The Independent Swordswoman." She muttered walking off. Ailee left the dungeon and went off to the next. She wasn't bad for a swordswoman that was a level fifty.
Ailee's Point of View [Finally]
Walking among the crowd, I slipped through the tight spaces, but that only led me to a duel with someone twice my size, but I was twice their level. Seems like all conflict is resolved by a duel. Accepting the duel, he drew his blade, but I didn't draw mine.
He cackled. "What? Afraid of me?!" That only made me smirk. I noticed Kirito in the crowd, we always seem to cross paths, not that it annoyed me or anything. The timer died down and the man charged at me, he was quick, but not quick enough. Tossing his blade in the air, I had mine upon his neck. The duel was over and it was silent, walking past them I went on forth on quests in the game. Level ninety-nine, just need one more experience to level up.
"Who's there?" I snapped stopping in my tracks. "J-Just me, Kirito." Turning around, we made contact, he on the other hand widen his eyes. "A-Are you the same player I saw at the doors to the second floor..?" So, he remembers.
"No, just a player wanting to log out of this game very soon." I muttered walking away, but I felt my hand being grasped by another. "Just.. who are you..?" But he doesn't remember that.
"The Independent Swordswoman." Jerking my hand back, I went into a dungeon. Only a floor behind the Assault Team. Opening the door to the boss level, it's blue eyes pierced through mine. Before taking a step, I looked at the ability.
Counter Haste; Eighteen hit combo, increasing agility as doing so to the enemy.
Guardian's Mark; Six hit combo, leaving the enemy with weak defenses.
[New!] Duel Wielder; Using two swords, doing twice the damage.
I looked at Duel Wielder, this ability could be useful. Looking at the boss, the blue demon roared. I clenched my sword charging in as the doors closed.
[a/n: i restarted everything because i read my stories and they are bs. so yeah, instead of the solo knight, it's the independent swordswoman. i'll be updating from now on!]
