Not What I Want, But What I Need

Chapter 4:Story Time

I walked out of the coffee shop after that weird little episode with Shane and started walking towards my dorm. I pulled out my phone to call Selena. It ringed only a few times before she picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey where have you guys been all day!"

"What do you mean we just went for some coffee stopped at the club to get something and came home? Why didn't you just call?" How do i tell her the whole story without telling her the whole story?

"Well are you home now?"

"Yeah We all are wh-"

"I'll explain when i get home be there in 5 minutes bye" i hung up the phone and jogged the rest of the short way to the dorm.

I finally got to my dorm almost completely out of breath. I need to start working out again. i walked in to see Selena peacefully reading on her bed. How relaxing. She was just about to speak when i cut her off.

"Scoot over close your book and shut your mouth it's freaking story time." Her jaw dropped but she followed as i said scooting over on her bed and closing her book. I kicked my shoes off and sat criss-cross in front of Selena who to my surprise was still silent.

I started telling her every single thing. waking up freaked out, going to the coffee shop,getting my stuff back, meeting the very annoying and strange Shane, and hearing the whole story of My Drunk Birthday Night. ounce i finished she just looked at me wide eyed i expected her to blow up with questions but only one thing came from her mouth.

"So Shane as in cute waiter Shane?" I gave her the death look and was about to explode on her when someone knocked on the door. I groaned practically throwing myself off Selena's bed and walking towards the door. I wondered who it was considering i wasn't expecting company and Amanda and Jessica just knock and walk in. I grabbed the handle and looked back at Selena pointing at the door giving her a questioning look. She just shrugged her shoulders and picked up her book to continue reading. I sighed and opened the door. i was shocked.

"Shane?" i could hear Selena suddenly move on her bed.

"Um hi I uh just stopped by to bring you your dress because you forgot it" he stuttered out blushing completely i saw him look past me I'm sure to Selena. i stepped out into the hall closing the door behind me. 

"Oh I'm sorry i'll just take it off your hands" i put out my hands to retrieve my dress but when i looked it seemed he didn't have it. "Where is it?" he just laughed a little nervously.

"Oh i'm sorry i guess i was too busy trying to remember what dorm to get the dress down." Really? that's what he was going with? Just to drop off a dress? of course that just makes perfect sense.

"Oh ok well do you think you could go get it then?" i tried to make sure he heard the irritation in my voice. He frowned so i sense he caught my tone.

"Ok I'll be back then" he started walking down the hall. When he was a little further down the hall i opened my door very fast  and of course it was stopped by a thunk. I'm guessing Selena's head is where the door hit. I laughed loudly before walking in.

"It's not polite to eavesdrop darling" she just gave me a dirty look well rubbing her head.

"He's here to just drop off a dress? That doesn't sound suspicious at all" she said sarcastically rolling her eyes. "he totally has a crush on you dear" i laughed that was never gonna happen this guy bugs the crap out of me! "So you don't like him can i go after him?" she looked at me so hope full.

"Of course you can, He bugs the hell out of me!" she just laughed.

"Oh i need to tell you something important" she was about to start but a light tap at the door attracted my attention. i walked over to it and of course Shane was there now holding my dress and a piece of paper?

"Here you go" he handed me the dress which was actually folded really neat. "and take this you know just in case you ever need anything" He handed me the piece of paper with numbers on it.

"Uh ok thank you? I'll see you later Shane Bye" i was about to turn and walk into the dorm when he pulled me into another one of those hugs.

"Bye Mia" he whispered just like at the coffee shop. He pulled away and walked Down the hall without saying another word. This guy is so awkward!I walked into my room and saw Selena still reading the book must've learned her lesson for eavesdropping when i hit her head with  the door. She seemed really into her book but ounce she saw me she immediately closed and looked at me with excitement.

"Put your stuff away sit down and shut your mouth because it's freaking story time!" we laughed but i did as she said putting my dress in my dirty cloths and the paper on my DMJ. I sat across from her like before but of course i wasn't gonna stay quiet. "Ok so Last night i forgot my jacket at the club so we went back to get and guess who let us in?"

"Who?" she gave me a disaproving look for i'm guessing speaking. She put her finger up to her lips shhing me. yup i was right.

"Richard! Remember the bouncer that gave you his number?" I had to think what? When did someone give me there number besides just now but that was Shane not a bouncer named Richard?I was deep in thought then i remembered the whole incident before we got into the club. I also remembered Shane telling me i was dancing with the bouncer too. Crap! I made out with him! I jumped up forgetting i was on a bunk bed so i hit my head really hard and fell back onto the bed.

"OW!" i yelled and rubbed my head. Selena was too busy laughing to care about my pain.

"So I'm guessing you remember him?" I was Going to blow up with everything i just figured out now but i decided to let her finish the story first."Ok well we saw him and he said he had a great time last night because of you but he was sad that you took off kinda early, but anyways he said to tell you to give him a call!" She squealed "I think he's going to ask you on a date!"

I Smiled really big, sure he isn't like my perfect guy but he was cute and nice, and a great kisser. I guess i can give him a chance? "Ok well i guess i'll give him a call?"  she squealed as i went to my DMJ and dumped out the remaining contents of last nights purse. I looked at the paper and it had fallen right by where i had put Shane's phone number.

That's not important though. I picked up Richards number and dialed it. If everything was as Selena said this should be fun.
