Chapter 1: The paddock princess

Elise Leclerc is the youngest of her three siblings Lorenzo, Charles and her twin brother Arthur who is five minutes older than her. She has always been very close to her brothers and they have always been very caring and overprotective over her, but she is especially close to her two brothers Charles and Arthur.

Charles started karting a little after Elise and Arthur turned one year old, when he was four. He started karting since both his father Hervé and Charles "godfather" Jules Bianchi were interested in racing. Elise and Arthur also started karting a couple of years later, and they all loved the sport. Lorenzo on the other hand was never really into racing so he was mostly watching them racing and he enjoyed that.

But in 2012 when Charles was fifteen and Elise and Arthur were twelve their family weren't able to afford the costs for racing for all the three of them so only Charles and Arthur could continue since Charles was three years older than us and Arthur had progressed further in his development.

Neither of them like that decision, especially not Elise and Arthur. She was the one that had the worst outcome of the situation but Arthur insisted that if Elise couldn't do karting anymore then he would stop karting too, because he didn't want to do it without her. But Elise persuaded him into continuing with karting even if she wasn't doing it with him. She promised him that she would always be there with him and cheering him on even if it was a test or a race, she would be there even if it was freezing and rainy or sunny. This was very hard on both of them since they do everything together and this would be the first thing that he would continue to do by himself, of course Elise is still there but not in the same way as she was before, she has a different position now. All their dreams of being in formula racing and racing together at the same team when they got older was now just a wish that wasn't coming true.

Both Charles and Arthur continued their careers as racing drivers and Elise was in the garage cheering them on together with Lorenzo whenever he had the time to follow them to a race weekend. Elise on the other hand has been at every race and race weekend ever since they were little kids and she made that promise to Arthur to always be there with him.

Now Charles is in formula 1 and is scuderia ferrari's number one driver and Arthur is driving in Formula 3 for Prema Racing so it is going well for the two brothers. Elise never picked up karting again. She raced with her brother just for fun whenever they were free because she still loved it but she never competed again. Since 2012 when she had to stop karting she has been 'the paddock princess' as her two brothers Charles and Arthur always calls her because she is always there supporting them and they are very happy to have her support, she is always there cheering them on in both the good and the bad days, and she indescribably proud of her brothers. Whenever you would see Elise she would alway have a big smile plastered on her face and she would beam with joy. Since Elise has been with her two brothers in the paddock for all these years she pretty much knows everybody that her brother knows. And everybody knew Elise Leclerc, the paddock princess and the Leclerc brothers' little sister. Everyone wanted her but she was off limits and they all knew that.
