Tophat's POV: I recently have got a notice that I getting a new roommate to move in with me. My landlord didn't really tell him until the day of, I was pretty pissed off at this.
"Tsk, they should've at least told me ahead of time instead of THE VERY LAST SECOND." I said angrily. However, I calmed down like really fast. Then I heard footsteps approaching the apartment room and hid.. the door opened slowly revealing my roommate..
"Yeild??" I whispered.
Yeild's POV: I walked into the apartment, it seems pretty clean surprisingly.. was my roommate a clean person? Anyways, I unpacked my stuff in the spare closet when I heard a faint whisper..
"Who's there?" I asked, I wanted to know who or what that was. That's when I turned around.. and it's TOPHAT!?!??!? My first instinct was to punch him, but the other half of me knows I will probably get him injured. So I just held back my anger at him.
"Uhh.. hi?? I didn't expect to see you her-" Before I could finish my sentence, Tophat glared at me and asked
"WHY ARE YOU HERE??? WHY OUT OF ALL PEOPLE IT HAS TO BE YOU." I could see him steaming in anger.. his face seemed a bit red and all that stuff, not in a good way though.
"I was renting an apartment doofus, why else would I be here?" I was pretty angry at him too honestly, but I felt pretty smug of myself coming up with that.
Tophat's POV: I felt like I was about to explode, I could see the smugness on Yeild's face. I walked away before turning back around and saying, "Im going to be nice to you even though I LITERALLY DESPISE YOU. You can have the spare room, it's literally across from mine. I'll move my stuff out once you get settled." I walked away.. leaving Yeild there, a tad confused, but a tad.. excited? I don't know.
