I hate switching schools but I don't have a choice. Hopefully Hawkins will be different. So far nothing has felt right. We've tried NYC, Maine, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, and most recently Kansas. Each state came with a different reason I wanted to leave. I can never seem to make let alone keep, friends. But my mom is insisting that I try to start over. (Again) I'm done running around because of dad. Mark my words, the next time he tries to come back into our lives saying, "I'll be a better father, I promise." I'm gonna tell him to fuck off. Apparently there's gonna be a new girl at school. Rumor has it she's lesbian. Now of course we can't know anything about her for sure but, I'm still excited. Maybe this is gonna be the first good thing to happen to me in a long time. A love interest in this weird, crazy story of my life. I can't wait!!
