Chapter 40-The Unroyal Child

Both Zeref and Natsu saw the man as he looks down at them then his eye spotted their parents behind them. "Well, if it isn't the traders of my kingdom," said the king as Larina and Igneel glared at him. "My dear sister, you ran from your duties to live the life as a commander and gave birth to this child" he pointed at Natsu "An Unroyal Child that should have never been born" He shouted out the words that emotionally stuck Natsu but quickly recover after hearing his brother saying "Don't you talked about my brother like that, you don't know him" Natsu smiled but made the king angry "how dare you talk back to your father you rotten boy" the king yelled as Natsu was shocked when he heard the word father to Zeref. Natsu looked over at his brother and repeated the name "Father" to Zeref.

Zeref looked back at Natsu and then lowered his head for a second then lifted it towards the king and said "You're no father of mine, in fact, I always consider Igneel as my real father" This made their parents happy but angered the king more. "You preferred him then your own flesh and blood" the king stated, "That's right" Natsu yelled to protest "being blood-related shouldn't matter, if you are royalty or not" Zeref praised Natsu's words when all of sudden the pink-haired was slapped across the face by the king. "Royalty or Not, the bloodline must always be pure in my family it is tradition, the Royal family must be pure, anyone with mixed blood of any other kind is considered scum and but be eliminate," Said the King as Natsu glared are him with hate in his eye, when he suddenly heard an old women voice "That will not be necessary" they all turned to see a woman with guards standing beside her. "Mo....Mother" Larina stated "Yes my dear it's me," the woman replied and then ordered her guard to release her and her family. "Mother what is the meaning of this," said the king "I should ask you the same, son, did you think you could get away with this, you were willing to kill an innocent child because of tradition" The woman replied

"But you were the one that teaches about the tradition, my sister committed a crime and she must be punished," said the king as the woman said "You fool she has already been punished enough and you my son have also committed a crime and you must be punished" She ordered the guards to arrested the king as she took the thorn. Everyone was confused as to what just happened. The new and former Ruler of Fiore "You are all probably wondering what just happened now" she said as they all nodded "Well you see, what my son said about the tradition isn't wrong, members of the royal family must be Wed by a member of other Royal, it is a tradition as old as time itself, both everyone follows those rules and anyone from my family who gives birth to a child other then the royal will be punished, mostly by banishment and that is want I planned with my daughter but she ran away from home as soon as she became pregnant." Larina wasn't surprised she knew about all this "But now that she is back there is one thing I must say to all of you" There was a moment of silence unit the queen spoke again, "I want to apologize for my son's behavior and will seek punishment for his action along with the rest who followed him" She looked towards Annabelle as the Guard cuffed to took her away. "Now as for the four of you.....you are free to go"

Okay I know I said I would discontinue this story I had idea where the story was going to go. You can say I've had writers block for the Longest time and didn't plan on ending it like this because this know suddenly came to me out of nowhere and was thinking about Re-writing this story but then I though No I'll just end this part of the story this and continued on from and this will now get a proper Ending
