Chapter 26: Separated

When they arrive in Voreion, Taehyung and Jin quickly go to Yoongi's room and find Jimin and Hoseok fretting over Yoongi who is running a fever. The moment Yoongi sees the two young alphas whom he trained and raised, he softly smiles.

"I am very proud of both of you." Yoongi softly tells them as Jungkook and Namjoon walk over to him.

"Old man, you do not seem to be feeling very well." Jungkook softly chuckles and kneels by Yoongi's bed.

"Do not worry. This is nothing." Yoongi smiles and gently pats Jungkook's cheek.

"I am not worried. My crazy mate made sure that you would be healthy." Jungkook smiles and looks at Jin and Taehyung who have extracted the essence of the flowers they picked for Yoongi. "Apparently, only the one with the King of Thalassia's energy can extract the essence from these rare flowers."

"This will reconnect you with your wolf," Taehyung explains to Yoongi who is looking at the shining essence in the small glass vial.

"You two could have died while obtaining these." Yoongi's eyes widen in surprise as he looks at Jin and Taehyung.

"But we did not, so be thankful." Jin softly laughs and helps Yoongi sit up.

When Yoongi drinks the essence, Taehyung's eyes begin to glow and Yoongi's white hair slowly becomes streaked with light blue. Yoongi takes a deep breath when he has the energy to reconnect with his wolf.

"You have not regained your magical energy, but you have the energy that you need to live a long, healthy life," Taehyung explains to Yoongi who is suddenly very tired.

"He will need to rest now since his body is syncing with the energy," Jin tells Jimin and Hoseok who both quickly nod.

Once everyone leaves the room, Jimin and Hoseok sit next to Yoongi and softly smile. They both cry in relief as they hold Yoongi's hands.

"He is going to be okay," Jimin whispers and kisses Yoongi's hand.

"We will not lose him." Hoseok cries and intertwines his and Yoongi's fingers.

As Yoongi wakes up, he feels the weight of two people hugging him. When he opens his eyes and looks at the two who are hugging him in their sleep, he softly smiles and gently runs his fingers through their hair.

"Yoongi!" They both sit up and look at Yoongi.

"I am okay. I am not going anywhere." He softly smiles and cradles both of their faces in his hands.

"Do not ever sacrifice yourself for us ever again." Jimin mumbles and kisses the palm of Yoongi's hand.

"Why are you crying? I did not die." Yoongi softly hums and gently wipes their tears away.

"You scared us." Hoseok whines and lies down and snuggles with Yoongi.

"I am sorry for scaring you." Yoongi smiles and wraps both of them in his embrace.

"Are you healthy enough to get your lazy ass out of bed?" Jungkook's cheerful voice brings a scowl to Yoongi's face.

"I am," Yoongi mutters as he glares at the younger alpha.

"Get up. It is time to kill the King of Ohkta and the witch that was with him." Jungkook tells him then leaves the room.

"Such a bossy pup," Yoongi grumbles and sits up.

Once the seven men are standing in the courtyard, the guards drag out the King of Ohkta and the witch.

"She is not a true witch. She has been practicing black magic trying to become a witch. Somehow, the black magic has added length to her dead life." Jimin tells them as his purple eyes glow.
