The boss said "it would be a great idea for us to go, we work great together" is what he said, Cassie was currently working and going to college she really just wanted to get it over with she thought that college was boring, and its her summer break so she wanted something to do anyway, but she loved writing and want to write a book but she's not sure on what, since she started working it felt like she was useful for once and she has been happier working with Evan, they talk like there old friends but shes only been working there for not to long, and he seemed to be warming up to her, theyd crack jokes and when ever you see them together there always laughing and giggling, on top of that they work in harmony, and you'd think they were dating but Evan actually has a girlfriend Ellie. He just enjoys being himself around Cassie.

The boss of theres decided to send them on a trip to get a stock of fresh apples you heard me...for some apples indeed , this store has the freshes apples and the reason behind that is because of the fact that every year they pick there employees to go and seek the fresh apples on the ranch that the boss got from his family, they stick to the schedule and it takes about 2- 3 days to come back, so they picked cass and Evan to go they seem like they can handle some hard work.

she sat eating her breakfast in the car while she waited for Evan to get in"hey you ready for this trip city girl" she looks at him takes a bite of her bagel and said to him "do you have to call me that"he chuckles a bit "oh call you what....city girl? "she pushed him playfully a little and him hitting the door of the car and him laughing still "really do you have to be so extra so early in the morning" she said taking another bite and putting up the bagel for later "if its with you then yes "she rolled her eyes, starting the car back up "yeah yeah close the damn door were getting coffee first "she hasn't gotten a drop of caffeine so she's just itching to hurry to get some coffee "yeah whatever and if you keep bossing me around ill have to knock you down even more short stack "he says getting closer to her unexpectedly leaving her laughing a bit more "oh yeah you all bark baby don't make me have to turn this damn car around to drop your ass back off at home i can use the extra money" she says with such an innocent face "not happening hunny bun your stuck with me for now" he said looking out the window trilling off his words smiling a bit

after about and hour or two Evan wanted to drive, he says just because but Cassie know that she was getting a bit tired from the heat and it makes her a bit woozy but she didn't know that he would notice, he just refused to let her drive if it was to hot because of that, he knew her well, she sat with her legs on the seat and it looked like she was writing

they drove in silence for a while so Evan looked over to Cassie, asking "hey short stack, whacha writ'in "he said looking over to her for a bit "oh just something for school" she closes the book and keeps it sitting in her lap "that's cool, what about "she got a little nervous but she just said to herself 'it's just Evan he won't think I'm trying to get with him or anything he'll make fun of me for sure' "you're going to laugh probably" she says pouting then looking down "now i need to know" he looks over with with his dark blue eyes locking with hers it was like he was taking her breath away just by looking at her "oh come on" "I'm kidding, i swear i wont laugh "he said patting her shoulder "promise" she said with a stern look "ok ok fine i promise" "it's about romance" "that's nice" she smiled a little "i see you smiling don't you dare laugh "as she just so happen to have a smile on her face "nono that's not why i swear" "suuuure" she put her book away and continued looking out the window, he looks over and smiles a bit and went back to focusing on the road.
