"Zoey Adler, Cinna Wybrid, and Luna Fontaine. You are 2 minutes late." Miss Sain sighed.
"I'm very sorry, miss.. It won't happen again.." Zoey said.
"Very well." Miss Sain said as she let the 3 girls in the class.
Zoey, Luna and Cinna sat down. Zoey turned around to catch a glimpse of Alex. He caught her eye and smiled.
"Someone looks like a tomato." Luna whispered to Zoey.
"Shut uppppp" Zoey whispered back.
"Alright settle down class" Miss Sain announced. "So, everyone in the class will get a script, you will have 3 people in the group. 2 of them will have a bigger role and the other person will get to say 1 line. Do not fight over who gets which role, I will assign them so it is fair. When I call your name, please come here.."
Miss Sain assigned everyone until Luna, Zoey, and Cinna were left. "Guess that means all of us are in a group." Cinna muttered.
Zoey grabbed Cinna and Luna's hands. "Come on Luna, come on Cinna! Let's go grab a script." Zoey walked up to Miss Sain and practically dragged Luna and Cinna with her.
Miss Sain pushed up her glasses. "Alright, I will assign the roles." Miss Sain said. "Zoey, you will be the role of Girl 1. Luna will be Girl 2.. And Cinna.... I'm sorry dear but you will only have one line. Is that alright?"
Cinna reluctantly nodded.
Miss Sain passed a script to each of the girls. "So that means Cinna will play the role of Jenny." Miss Sain said.
A few minutes later
Zoey, Cinna, and Luna had been practicing for a few minutes. "Alright," Zoey said. "Let's try doing this without our scripts."
Zoey and Luna started the act, when it was Cinna's turn to speak, she messed up.
"Cinna your line is simple. It's literally 2 words. All you have to say is 'Wait, really?' and you keep saying 'really? Wait what?' and different things!" Luna whined.
"I'm trying my best here!" Cinna replied back, anger in her tone. "I'm sorry if everything can't go in your way, Ms. Popular!"
"I'm not-"
"Girls, calm down!" Zoey yelled over the noise, but no one looked at her. Sighing, she put her fingers near her mouth and blew a deathening whistle noise that made everyone (including Cinna and Luna) shut up.
"Okay class! Time to present." Miss Sain announced. "Come on guys, let's go first!!" Zoey exclaimed
"Ahem..." Zoey said. "Oh my God, did you see that new girl?" She asked Luna with a popular girl (ahem- Tina- ahem) voice.
"What new girl?" Luna asked in a bratty voice.
"Over there I think her name's Jenny." Zoey answered.
"Is she pretty?"
"No... What a pity."
"Let's go see if her Daddy's got moneyyyy!" Luna giggled, dragging the 'y' in 'money'.
"Oh my God, hey. Your name's Jenny right?" Zoey asked Cinna.
"You could be a model if it weren't for your height..." Luna said, making Cinna scoff because in reality Cinna was a little taller than her.
"OMG I see it!" Zoey squealed.
"Don't you though?" Luna replied.
".....Really? Wait- What, Wha- really?" Cinna stuttered, making Luna slap her forehead.
The presentation went on smoothly, the only thing was that Cinna kept messing up on her one line.
"Thank you, girls."
After about 10 minutes, almost everyone presented. "Okay class, you are dismissed." Miss Sain told everyone. As Luna, Cinna and Zoey were walking out, one of the popular boys, Lucas, winked at Luna.
"OoOooOooooooOooH!!!" Zoey said as she giggled. "Someone has a crush on you Luna..."
Luna blushed, but out of embarrassment. "Well too bad, I don't like him." She said as she groaned.
"Then why are you blushing?" Cinna asked. Luna shot her a death stare.
"Because! You're- UGH!" Luna spluttered.
Cinna smirked. "So you do like him..."
"I DON'T! Why do you have to-! UGH NEVER MIND." Luna practically sighed the last sentence and stalked away.
"Calm down guys. Cinna, maybe she was blushing out of embarrassment. We are kinda embarrassing her." Zoey tried. "Luna, wait-"
Luna turned around and shot not only Cinna, but also Zoey a death stare. "When will you guys learn to leave it!" She spat, and turned away again.
"I told you she wouldn't last..." Cinna said with an innocent whistle.
Zoey sighed. "Seriously Cinna, you guys need to stop fighting. Now she's mad at us!"
"But I was just teasing her! It's her fault for being so.. Sensitive.." Cinna replied. "Plus, she embarrasses me all the time..."
Luna heard Cinna talk, but kept walking away, tears starting to brim at her eyes.
