hassan and i go way back. he's been one of my best friends since we were kids. before all of the rise and fame; this guy has been a part of my life. i always hear this saying that goes "your male friend will end up having feelings for you some day believe it or not." i would never believe it from hassan. NEVER. because we practically grew up together. i would be lying if i said at one point i didn't have feelings for him though, because i did and still do. he has such a beautiful personality. he's a gentleman, he's so funny. how could you not have feelings, you know?

at this point, he was rising, and fast. he was breaking records, going to start touring, getting invited to award shows, tv shows, you name it. i watched him on the television all the time. i was happy for him because he's always wanted this, but he never expected to be at the top. because of this i hardly got to see him anymore. of course, he'd never forget to check up on me from time to time, but it wasn't the same as when we'd get to hangout in person.

he's such a flirt it confuses me. surely he's not into me. he has girls wanting him left and right.

a surprise? what the hell does he mean. i had no idea what it could possibly be, but i stayed glued to the tv. the award show host introduces him and he stands there with the biggest smile on his face. i couldn't help but smile too.

i clapped my hands and yelled his name as if i was there. i looked ridiculous, but i don't care. that's my best friend and his dreams are coming true. he's on stage, but before he sings anything he looks directly at the camera and clears his throat.

i couldn't believe my ears and what my eyes were witnessing. was i that obvious? he was right. i wanted him. i wanted to be with him for such a long time now, but i didn't know he felt the same. he looked so good on stage in every way possible. that man, is my man now. OH MY GOD. and to make it all feel complete he throws up his signature heart sign and began to sing.

a couple of hours after the awards he was in his hotel room. and we decided to facetime for a bit and by a bit i mean we were talking for almost five hours. i can't get enough of him. and his voice is just so ughhhh.
