Eclipse POV

"Solar! The bomb storage!" I spin around to face him.

"What about it?" He stops running as well.

"We could shoot some off the ship. Use enough and the energon content should lure it away." I offer.

Solar paused.

^Siege, did your uncle ever mention any specific bombs he had?^ Solar asked.

^No. But it was one of the rooms we were never allowed in. So I'm assuming not the pretty kind.^

^Does the ship have any canons?^ Solar and I took off to the storage room with Harmony.

^Not any that would do damage. Why?^ Flare added.

^Eclipse and I want to launch a bomb, or several, into space to lure the Energon worm away from us.^ Solar explained.

^And when it's finished with said explosive?^ Wavelength countered.

^What if we set it to blow!^ Harmony quickly suggested.

"The bomb?!" I think I knew where she was going.

^Once the Worm is gone and we're a safer distance away the bomb could go off! Scaring it away from us as well!^ Harmony finished.

"Harmony you're brilliant!" Solar opened the explosives room.

^Its worth the attempt!^ Flare reasons. ^Better than waiting in a dead ship to be killed off!^

^I'll get that canon ready. Someone stay by the engine room, we may need to go full speed within a moment's notice. Eclipse how big was the Energon Worm?^ Siege agreed to the plan.

^A little older than a few years, nearing the end of the middle stage in its life.^ I answer.

^So young still. Where is its mother?^ Wavelength asked.

^She never showed up on the radar. It's just this one.^ Siege responded.

^That's not normal? Right? Energon Worms live with their parents until mid-adulthood?^ Harmony waited as Solar and I filled a crate with as many Energon-packed bombs as we could find.

"No, it's not." Solar confirmed.

^The mother was probably killed off by something else?^ Flare reasoned.

^Well let's not take any chances. How is that bomb going?^ Siege asked.

^Done! Bringing it over now!^ I let my brother know.

Solar, Harmony and I pushed the heavy crate onto a loading cart. Grunting I start pushing the entire thing, letting the floating platform roll forward. Solar helped get momentum going and we took off running. The ship jerked violently.

*I think that lure is working too well!!* Harmony held onto the wall for support.

"I think you're right!!" I set her on the crate and started my thrusters, moving it much faster.

Solar hopped on and kicked off the walls to help me turn the heavy box.

"Siege!! Here!" Solar helps me come to a stop.

"Help me load it." Siege opened a fair-sized capsule.

"What is that?" Solar looked at it confused.

"It goes in the canon. Again, it wasn't made for heavy artillery like the Ark or Nemesis had." Siege grunts as we lift the crate and load it in.

The Worm slams into the ship, sending us flying several cyber-yards from the canon.

^How is that lure going?^ Flare typed, clearly nervous.

^A tad too well!^ I type back.

Siege scrambled up and closed the capsule, slamming down on the button to launch it. With painful bam the capsule goes rocketing away from the ship. An awful screech is heard outside as the creature launches itself off the ship. The Golden Retriever is forced in a new direction as we all crash against the windows.

"Our ship is rotating upside down!!" Solar panicked.

"Just getting better and better." I huff, just as stressed.

From outside the boom from the crate went off, sending a shock wave into the ship. The shock forced the ship to complete its rotation and drop us from the ceiling and onto the floor.

"AAAAH!!" I hear my brother cry out.

"Siege!" I look up and at him.

*What happened?* Harmony whimpered.

"Siege fell on his wing." I help my brother off his back.

"What about the worm?" Siege asked trying to distract himself.

"Gone." Solar said from the window. "There's a nebula about twelve hours from us. It's fleeing in that direction."

"Oh thank the primes." Siege breathed relieved.

^Ship is right side up... Where's the baby alien?^ Flare asked in the chat.

^Again, it was a teen. But yes. It's gone. Don't power on the ship quite yet though. At least not the engines.^ I respond.

^Any essentials we need turned on?^ Wavelength adds.

^The medbay. Siege hurt his wing.^ Harmony requested.

The four of us walk in that direction. Once there Siege fell onto one of the berths. For seekers, a wing injury could, and more than likely, lead to other pains and injuries. Back, shoulder, neck, even hips.

"Siege?" Flare poked his helm inside.

"Hey Flare." Siege groaned.

"Stay still and let me look at it." Solar gently commanded his co-captain.

We were all silent for a few minutes as Wavelength joined us. He walked to my side and took my servo. I squeeze his worried.

"He just dislocated it thankfully." Solar let everyone know.

I breathe out, thankful.

"Oh good." Flare leaned against the wall.

Even Harmony seemed to let go of holding her breath. She knows just as well as Flare and I do how awful wing injuries are. Heck, even Solar's winglets hurt if they were pulled. The amount of nerve wiring within the wing joints would be equivalent to how many nerves are in the human hand or neck and spine. I have zero clue what that means but Sire said it a lot.

"I just have to ease it back into place." Solar warned Siege.

"Yeah- sure got it." He grunted holding onto the med berth.

"Just relax in 1-"

"OW!!" Siege bellowed once his wing popped back into place. "I thought you were counting to three?!"

"Sire taught me not to. If you do it creates more anxiety and plus, your body will be the most relaxed on 1 anyways." Solar explained slightly guiltily for hurting him. "Something Ratchet taught him."

"Well thank you. Let's power on the ship and get back on course." He stands up holding his shoulder, near the wing joint.
