Eclipse POV

The worm only ended up knocking us a few hours off course. Unfortunately however, the ship needed repairs. Solar and Harmony stayed in the ship and my brothers and I, plus Wavelength, did our best to fix it. That in of itself took up the majority of the week left to reach the ground bridge.

"How are repairs over there?" Wavelength commed me.

"Going fine. We're lucky Flare had the idea to take apart the crates in the loading dock."

"He's a smart one. Insane, but smart." Wavelength chuckled.

"To everyone outside, we're nearing the space bridge." Solar commed everyone.

I kick off of the side, floating in open space for a moment. I won't go far, not with the safety cord attached to my waist. Or my thrusters.

"Don't want to go inside yet?" Wavelength laughed a bit, passing me.

"To be honest no. I can tell you want to though." I smile.

"Yep!! The ship is still connected to Cybertron's holonet and a new song came out! It would remix great with another song." He jokes a bit.

I laugh again and follow him back into the ship. Mech could spend hours looking through songs, picking them apart, and mixing them together again. Not to mention the original songs he makes himself are his pride and joy. When it come to information, Solar was our overall go-to. But Wavelength was the computer genius.

"Hey Flare!" Wavelength poked his arm.

"Hi! Ready to see a space bridge!!" My brother bounced excitedly.

"Definitely!" We all walked to the control room.

In the near distance was a massive ring of metal, thrusters built into the sides to keep it from going elsewhere in the galaxy.

"Whoah. That's huge." Siege breathed sitting down. You could tell his wing was still sore.

"That thing dwarfs us." I pull up an image on my balcony screen.

"Definitely." Solar agreed.

Harmony walked in joining us, her new mouse happily curled up against her helm chevron.

"Hey Harmony. Hey Space Mouse." I gently pet our newest crewmate.

Harmony giggles when the mouse wiggles against her metal.

*Are we really about to go through the space bridge?*

"Yes we are! After that, we only have another week till we reach Earth!" Flare grinned.

Harmony wings clicked rapidly, we've learned that means absolute excitement, much like a seeker's wings fluttering.

"Approaching now!" Solar cheered.

We all crowd around him as Siege sends the codes to activate the bridge. In front of us a bright swirl of green blue and white forms.

"Whoah...." I breathe amazed.

"Now that's epic." Flare gasps.

*What does it look like?* Harmony tapped Solar's waist.

"It- looks kinda like the way the wind feels, but how water flows and with a soft grainy texture." He attempted.

*Oh!* It seemed to have translated well enough.

"Entering the bridge now!!" Siege informed everyone.

We watched as the ship entered the portal.

"Oh my." Wavelength looked at our new surroundings stunned.

"It's gorgeous." I admire, optics wide.

I look over and grin at Wavelength. He smiles back and looks back out into the vortex.

"How long will we be in this?" Flare asked curiously.

"About an hour." I quickly check my computers."

"How soon to Earth after that?" Wavelength sat down.

"A little less than a week. About, five days?" I estimate.

"Not terrible!" Flare grinned.

"What about the humans Mr. Optimus told you about?" I ask, suddenly remembering those stories.

*Optimus met humans!!* Harmony gasped.

"Yep! Quite a few actually. One of them helped return his memory one time. All three fought to seize the Nemesis at the end of the war." Solar informed her.

*Can I hear about them?*

"Sure!"

Solar went on to tell any story he could remember about them. There were five main humans, two of which were adults. Three were kids as well. Mr. Ratchet apparently loved them, despite never admitting to it.

*So, these kids became human Autobots! What happened to them after the war?*

"Sire- doesn't actually know. Not 100% at least. He knows the three of them will always have a part in the US military." He explained.

*US?*

"The country they were in. I think it stood for...." I snap my digits trying to remember.

"Unity States right? I think?" Siege couldn't remember either.

"I think so yeah." Solar nods.

"Close enough." Flare laughs.

I chuckle.

"So who's excited for Earth?" Wavelength spun in his chair.

*Me!* Harmony grinned. Her mouse woke up enough to squeak before sleeping again.

I snort amused. Good stars they were both adorable.

"Siege, go rest." Solar gently commanded.

"Is that an order?" He jokes walking up the control room stairs.

"Yep! Now rest." Solar grinned.

"Fine fine. I'll recharge." Siege laughed, holding his servos in surrender.

I watch him leave. We were so, so close to Earth.

"Nervous?" Flare asked.

"A little. A little excited as well." I admit.

"Yeah. I'm probably going to work with Solar to put all the relic info onto a new Datapad, just in case." He nods.

"It's a fair idea." I agree.

"You rest as well! You to Wavelength!!" Flare half demands.

Wavelength groaned but got up.

"Yeah yeah." He attempted to sound defiant but accidentally yawned mid-sentence.

I snort. "Imma recharge myself. You three have fun."

"Night!" The three wave.

So close to Earth. And yet- I sigh. The worm had me on edge. It felt like running through the mob again back on Cybertron. Shaking my helm I lay down. I definitely needed sleep.
