Wally watched as his little sister stormed off in a fit of rage, heading towards Home.
He was used to her being upset. But not THIS upset.
He turned around to look at the others behind him, and they all shared worried expressions.

"..Guys-" Wally began, only to be interrupted.

"You really made her mad there, Wally." Frank said sternly.

"Well, gosh, I- I didn't mean to! All I did was-"

"Stop her from going on a bike ride, just because you were worried about her getting hurt? You have a right to be concerned for her safety, Wallace, but she isn't the same little kid who was waddling around this neighborhood all those years ago. She's growing, developing into her own person." Frank pushed his glasses up. "You ought to apologize to her."

Wally's eyes darted around to all of his friends. His eyes landed on Barnaby, who he hoped would have something positive to say.

"I.. think I agree with Frank on this one. Sorry, little buddy." The blue beagle's tail tucked between his legs.

"Yeah! I know you mean well, Wally, but she's allowed to have fun! Even if something did go wrong, at least we'd all be there to help! Just like we would for you and anyone else!" Julie crossed her arms.

The other neighbors all collectively nodded, causing Wally to gulp nervously.
"..Well, in that case, uh.. I'll go say I'm sorry. G'night, everybody."
...
...
"Heeey, sis?" Wally called out as he entered Home. "I'm here.. uh, do you wanna..?"
No response. Must be in her room.
Wally walked to his sister's room, which happened to be right next to his.
He knocked on the door gently, just to alert her of his presence before he walked in.
Still nothing.
A sigh, then he walked into the younger puppet's room.

"..Hey, uh, Illi. I just wanted to-"

"Shut up, Wally." Illi said, still not facing him as she sat on her bed.

"Now, sis, won't you let me say what I have to say?" Wally asked.

"...Whatever." Illi huffed.

"..Can I sit down?"

"...Whatever."

Wally walked over to the other puppet's bed, sitting next to her on it, though she scooted away from him a little upon him doing so.
Wally looked at Illi, clasping his hands together in his lap.

"I- ahem. I just wanted to apologize for me being, uh.. a little too over-protective of you. I get that you wanna have fun, too, but you gotta understand that I get worried, and—"

"Oh, oooof course. Every single time I wanna go on my bike, you remind me to tie my shoes! Like I'm gonna crash into the Bugdega or some dumb crap like that!" Illi interjected.

"Because you almost did one time! But, lemme finish. So, as I was saying, I'm sorry for upsetting you today, and all those other times. You've changed, but that's a—"

"I'VE changed?! No, I HAVEN'T CHANGED!" Illi finally turned to look at her brother, an angry expression all over her face. "AND YOU NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH IT UNTIL MOTHER DIED! YOU'VE CHANGED, WALLY! YOU AND HOME BOTH!"

Wally gasped softly, taken aback by the younger puppet's sudden aggression towards him.
"Illi.." He mumbled, reaching out to put a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Just- leave me alone, okay?!" The other puppet batted Wally's hand away with her own. "I'm tired.."

Wally sighed in defeat. He didn't wanna leave her like this, but.. if it was what she wanted, then..
"..Goodnight, sis." He said, before getting up and exiting the room, closing the door behind him.

Wally then walked into the living room, sitting down on his big red chair.

You're a pathetic one, Darling.

"I don't wanna talk to you right now."

Imagine what'll happen if you do lose her. You'll have nothing left.

"T- That isn't true! I have Barnaby, I have everyone in this neighborhood!"

Don't be so silly. None of them matter, especially not Barnaby.

"Be quiet! And don't talk about my best friend like that!"

She is right, you know.

"I said be quiet!"

You failed, Wally. You've failed everyone in this neighborhood.

"I SAID SHUT UP!"
...
After that, Home quit speaking.
Wally took a few deep breaths to compose himself, leaning back against the soft plush material of his chair.
He closed his eyes, doing everything he could to just relax.
He could feel himself begin to doze off, until he heard a door opening.

"..Hey, Wally?"
