Dorcas and Regulus have been in the house for a while and have made the house a very more welcoming place. With natural light and bright colors in every room. Dorcas was still active in the Order of the Phoenix and still went on missions. She had one tonight. As she left she said goodbye to Regulus and apparated to where the battle was supposed to be held. It was a Wizard town in Wales. She met up with Remus and Sirius.

"Hey, do you know where Lily is?" Dorcas asked them.

"She had some family business to take care of", Remus answered. Dorcas simply nodded.

As the death eaters started to appear, Dorcas was separated from everyone else and was surrounded by Death Eaters. She fought them off easily as they were not that skilled. She continued to take down many of them, then everyone froze for a second as a dark cloud appeared and Voldemort himself was standing there. He never comes to these battles. He only comes if there is a reason to. Dorcas was apparently the reason, he immediately made eye contact with her. Some Order members apparated away but most stayed.

"You know it's not nice to kill one's friends", Voldemort said menacingly to Dorcas.

Dorcas laughed, she wasn't scared, he wasn't that scary, but he was powerful. "I didn't think you had friends"

Voldemort shot the first spell, nearly missing Dorcas. She immediately got into fighting mode and they were throwing spells everywhere, some missing and some hitting them straight on. Voldemort had enough and shot a green light straight at Dorcas, who reciprocated and the spells were battling each other. Dorcas was about to win when someone caught her eye.

A tall blonde woman stood staring at Dorcas with a look in her eyes, someone Dorcas hasn't seen in a while. Dorcas knew she was scared for Dorcas. She didn't want Dorcas to have to be the one to kill Voldemort. She also didn't want Dorcas to lose.

This was enough for Dorcas to lose her focus and her spell flickered and Voldemort's shot right into her heart. The woman screamed, heartbroken, she was pulled away by Sirius and they apparate away. The Death Eaters started leaving too, satisfied with how everything went.

Two men were left standing staring at the body on the ground. The blond was frozen, tears silently falling. The other, a brunette, was looking away, not able to stand looking. Dorcas woke up, gasping for air. She saw the two men standing there and whispered, "they can't know"

The two men ran up to her and grabbed her arm, apparating away.

They ended up in a bedroom. "Where did you take me, Evan?" Dorcas asked.

"It's my house", Evan replied, "I didn't know where else to go."

"So you took me to a house with about a million Death Eaters in it?!"

"He was scared" Barty defended, "it's fine as long as you don't go downstairs"

Dorcas rolled her eyes.

"How are you even alive?" Barty questioned, knitting his eyebrows together, "I saw Voldemort kill you."

"Do you remember in 7th year when you both got spelled but didn't know what from?"

"Yes?"

"Wait, was that you?!" Evan was shocked.

"What spell was it?"

"It was a spell of my own creation, with the help of Regulus and Pandora, it prevents you from dying", Dorcas explained.

"And it worked?" Evan was amazed.

"Yes, but only once, if I die again then it's forever." Dorcas corrected. They hugged her. "Don't go getting yourselves killed just so you can come back to life", she warned, " you will know when your time is."

"Aww darn", Barty wined.

"Does that mean Regulus isn't dead?" Evan asked hopefully.

Dorcas sighed, "yes but you're not supposed to know that" she paused, "you're not supposed to know any of this, I need to leave", Dorcas walks to the window then turns toward her friends, "I need to make sure you guys won't tell anyone". She puts her hands out and Barty and Evan both grab on, not questioning a thing. Dorcas mumbles a spell then lets go, "there now you can't tell anyone about any of this". She goes to open the window.

"Wait, can you promise me something?" Evan asks nervously.

Dorcas can see this means a lot to him, "yes?"

There's a pause, "If I go to Azkaban, will you", he pauses again, "will you get me out? I don't want to go insane in there or anything.

"I will make sure you don't stay in there long, I promise"

Evan runs to her and envelopes her in a hug, Barty immediately joins. "Ok I need to leave before something happens".

"Are you going to jump?!" Barty asks, concerned.

"Yeah, I'll break my fall before I hit the ground"

"Don't die again, remember? You won't come back"

"I'll be fine, thanks for the concern, If anything happens and you need me, as a last resort only. Call the Knight Bus and tell the conductor you are with Dorcas, he will know where to go.", she goes to jump before they can respond. Barty and Evan hang their heads out the window and watch as she stops inches from the ground and gets up unscathed. She walks far enough away, out of the property line and apparates away.

When she gets back to the house and through the door, Regulus is there harassing her with questions. "Where have you been?", "Did you die?", "Did you kill anyone?"

"Calm down, I'm fine, I did die, and I've been at the Rosier Manor". Dorcas says nonchalantly, walking to the kitchen to grab something to drink. Regulus is left flabbergasted with the little information he got. He runs after her.

"What? How were you killed? You were the last person I thought would die"

Dorcas grabs a bottle out of the fridge and pops the cap, "Voldemorts hard to fight, has pretty good focus", she sips her drink.

"Voldemort? Voldemort killed you?", Regulus' voice was getting higher. He had become very comfortable in the house and he wasn't hiding inside himself like he always was at Hogwart, Dorcas was happy for him.

"Yeah"

"And why were you at the Rosier Manor?" Regulus was still pushing for more answers, he hated not knowing things.

"Evan and Barty found me on the battlefield and took me there, they had a lot of questions too, don't worry they won't be telling anyone anything", she assured him.

Regulus nodded, "how are they?" he was quiet now, Dorcas knew he missed them and knew this was a hard topic.

"They are good, they're as happy as they can be with everything going on, they asked about you, they were happy to know you were alive"

Regulus looked down smiling. He was glad they were ok. Satisfied with the information he got, he went and also got a drink. They stayed talking for a while until they both decided to go to bed. They went upstairs but Regulus went up another flight of stairs to his room and Dorcas went down the hallway to the office.

She went straight to the desk and waved her hand over it. A huge paper the size of the desk itself appeared. It had 12 names on it each name had a rough sketch and a location. Dorcas and Regulus' names were blue and Peters was red and faded. Everyone else was black. Dorcas grazed her fingers over her own name.
