As we zoom in to the Central Spire, we see Stargate Operations, and a giant open hall with the Stargate. As we turn around, we see huge stairs leading up to Stargate Operations, revealing many people of the Atlantis Expedition. Mr Richard Woolsey, leader of the Atlantis Expedition, walks out from his Office, and requests to be put onto the city intercom "Atlantis Expedition, as you all know, this is our 100th day back on Earth, and because all of our ZPM's are depleted, all attempts to return to the Pegasus Galaxy have..." Richard is rudely interrupted by Dr Rodney McKay, who comes running up the Grand Staircase "I've found out how!" Rodney says. Rodney pushes one of the Stargate Operations staff from their desk and sits down. "Hold on one moment." Richard says, as he walks over to Rodney "Found what?" Richard says.
"It's way too hard to explain." Rodney says "Then would you please dumb it down Dr McKay?" Richard asks. Rodney thinks about it, then says "I have found out how to create ZPMs." A few moments after this, Dr McKay and Richard Woolsey head down to the ZPM Creation Tunnel "Dr McKay, last time you tried this, you nearly opened a black hole above Atlantis." Richards insists. Rodney turns around and asks "How did you know that?" to which Richard replies "I read the report." Rodney, looking embarrassed, turns back around and mutters "Of course you did." Richard walks over to the machine "So Dr McKay, what improvements have you made?" Richard asks. Rodney taps the crystal tray and it goes back into the slot "There was a fault." Rodney says. Richard walks over to Rodney "A fault?" Richard asks. Rodney proceeds to explain "Well, more of a purpose fault. The Signal Tunnel Crystal was in the Compressor slot, which nearly caused the opening of a black hole over Atlantis considering ZPM's draw their energy from Sub-Space." Richard asks "In English?" Rodney, looking confused, proceeds to say "That was, English?" Richard raises his eyebrows, and Rodney Clicks "Oh, right." He says understandingly. Rodney walks over to the tunnel "When the Ancients left Atlantis, one of them, probably Janus, placed one of the Crystals into the wrong slot so that if the Wraith did breach Atlantis, they wouldn't be able to create any ZPMs. However, placing that Crystal into the wrong slot and activating the machine wouldn't open a black hole, so I have to assume it was a failsafe created by Janus." Rodney explains. Richard proceeds to say "What is it about Janus and fail safes?" Rodney looks up at Richard and says "Umm, indeed. I believe we can attempt creating our first ZPM in about 15 minutes, tops." Richard replies "Good" Someone on the intercom announces "Can Mr Woolsey please report to Stargate Operations." Richard says to Rodney "Right, I'll be back in 15 minutes."
Richard heads back to the control room, where the Stargate is being dialled in. Richard commands "Shield up!" One of the personnel raises the gate shield, and the Stargate activates. Another one of the personnel says "Receiving Todd's Identification Code." Richard walks down the grand staircase and the army personnel raise their guns, while Colonel Sheppard enters the Gate room. Richard commands "Lower the shield." and so the shield is lowered, and Todd the Wraith steps through the gate and the gate deactivates behind him. Richard says to Todd "Hello Todd, what can we do for you?" to which Todd replies "Actually Mr Woolsey, it is what I can do for you..." Colonel Sheppard asks "You can do many things for us Todd, it's just a matter of whether we can trust you." Todd looks at Colonel Sheppard and says "Ahhh, Sheppard, nice to see you again. It's been a while since I was sent back to the Pegasus Galaxy from your... Stargate Command? I was starting to miss you." Colonel Sheppard puts on a sarcastic face "You too buddy!" Richard asks "Shall we proceed to the meeting room? "To which Todd nods in a yes motion.
Colonel Sheppard, Richard Woolsey and Todd walk up the grand staircase and turn left to enter the meeting room. They sit down at the long table "So buddy, what can you do for us?" asks Sheppard, to which Todd replies "Our Alliance Spies have picked up a wave of three Wraith Hive Ships and Two Wraith Cruisers heading for Earth..." Richard Woolsey pulls a angry but scared face and storms out of the Meeting Room and into the control room "Pull up the Long-Range Sensors!" Richard commands, while Colonel Sheppard and Todd walk into the control room. One of the Control Room Personnel says "Picking up 3 Wraith Hive Ships heading in our direction!" Todd raises his head "You see?" he proclaims. Richard turns around and says "They are heading for Earth; does this mean they want Atlantis?" Todd replies "As much as they do want Atlantis, it is not on their agenda." Richard, feeling confused aks "So what do they want?" Todd thinks, and replies "Alliance Intelligence suggests you have activated a device that enabled the Ancients to manufacture Zero Point Modules." Richard looks at Colonel Sheppard, and then back at Todd "Well..." Richard is rudely interrupted by Dr McKay running up the staircase shouting "I DID IT!" Richard turns around and asks "Did what?" Dr McKay, holding a ZPM, replies "Mr Woolsey, I present to you, the first ZPM to be created for over 5 Million years!" Richard quickly replies "Good, plug it into the ZPM Hub immediately. Colonel, Get down to the Control Chair, we need to take out those ships" They both reply "Right!" Colonel Sheppard and Dr McKay, clearly saddened that his historical speech was swept aside so quickly, exit the Control Room. Moments later millions of bright lights exit from holes inside the city and fly up into the sky, and destroy the Wraith Ships. Todd admires the destroyed Hive Ships and says "Oh, the beauty of Ancient Technology..." Richard walks up behind Todd "Indeed..." he says, as they both admire the destruction of the hive ships.
