A Sparkle Memories

PROLOGUE

It's around 2am in the morning when I
heard my phone rang. Zavyra was calling,
I answered it with my sleepy voice. I'm
tired working 24 hours just to submit the
papers and the projects.

"𝘩𝘮,𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵?" I asked her.

[𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶?] She answered. What is
wrong with her?, okay I knew it, she's
drunk, again.

Binabaan ko nalang s'ya nang tawag
at bumalik sa'king mahimbing na tulog.

Pagkagising ko, lumapit ako kay winter,
my cousin. 2 years old palang s'ya
at ako ang nag babantay sakanya
dahil may tinatrabaho ang mommy n'ya
sa company nila. Minsan ay pumupunta
ako sakanila para bisitahin sya if may
free time ako, diretso ko na s'yang
binabantayan kung may aasikasuhin
ang mommy n'ya.

"Pagod ako lagi." I said when me and
ada was in the middle of our conversation
about planning of how we'll handle the
work and studies. "Alam ko naman,"
she said. I like how ada listens to my
problems and comforting me with her
sweetest words.

Hindi ako nakakapag open up kay zav,
siah, o kay zia. Alam ko rin namang
pagod sila sa pag aaral at pagdedesisyon
kung ano ang kanilang kukuhaning course.

"Zia!" Sigaw ko nang makita ko s'yang
kasama si messiah. Lumapit ako and they
gave me a small smile before saying
"We're in hurry, let's talk somewhere
if we have a time." It hurts. I want to hug
them and say I miss them really much.
We didn't have a time to bond with each
other, I just wanted to talk to them or
message them every single of hour.

I think they were busy and have a lot
to do so, I understand. I need to rest too.
"Okay!" I nodded, smiling.

Nag grocery lang ako dahil ubos na ang
foods sa condo ko. My dad always gave
me allowance every week so I have enough
money to take my needs. Pag uwi ko sa
condo, nag start muna akong mag linis
dahil medyo makalat na ang loob. Pag
katapos ko, sinabihan ko lang lang si
manang rosy to cook for dinner. I'm tired
na kaya nag shower nalang ako before kumain.

Nang matapos ako kumain I went upstairs
para humiga, nag scroll ako sa instagram
and I decided to post a picture with my kitty. "Is this good?" I asked my cat
about the photo, imagining he will answer me. I like talking to cats ever since I'm still young.

After a minute I looked at my instagram
account again and I saw zia commented. "We miss u girl". I looked down, feel ko nag iisa nanaman ako, I bite my lips, Binalik ko ang tingin ko sa phone ko at nag type, "Is that true?" I replied.

1 month na kaming apat na hindi nagkikita.
I know that zavyra is busy with his suitor,
ralph. Oh how sweet they are when I stalked
zavyra's account, they were hanging out together, holding hands, taking a picture
and having a dinner with their families.
I wish I had a man that treats me like the guys in kdrama who treats their partner
like a queen. I envy zavyra's life.

"Zavyra has a nice family, zia was good
in studying, messiah's just making his life
happy, h-how?" I whispered.

My tears just fall down when I remembered the memories of the four of us. I miss it so much. I just can't make the first move kasi
baka i-ignore nila message ko dahil sa sobrang busy. I just keep my thoughts to myself.

Sunday ngayong araw kaya naisipan kong mag simba. I wore a black bouffant dress
with matching white sandals. I curled my hair and put a star clip,both of the side.

Nag pa drive nalang ako kay kuya Luis,
He was my driver when I was in high school.
He don't have family so my parents said that he is welcome to our house.

Pag dating ko sa simbahan, nakita ko
kaagad na tumatakbo si zavyra,siah, and
zia sa direksyon ko. "Hello babes!", I greeted them with a smile. They gave a
smile back at me and hold my wrist to pull
me on their seats. I felt good with them.

Pagkatapos nang misa, nag decide si siah
na mag so-shopping raw. "I don't have
money lol" Zavyra rolled her eyes.
"I'll treat you zav," I said when I heard
what she said. "Weh, sure 'yan? uto-uto pa naman ako uy!, pero kung oo edi thankyou!.
Siah and zia laughed.

Pagpasok namin sa mall, I saw how the two
really excited entering the mall and amazed to see some clothes, but it's too expensive so they just hold it and act lonely. Kung anong gusto nila nilalagay ko sa cart ko at hindi pinapahalata para hindi nila makita. Na leleft out nanaman ako. Pagdating namin sa counter para mag bayad, pina una ko muna sila bago ako. Habang nilalapag ko ang mga damit na kinuha ko, naramdaman ko naman ang kirot sa dibdib ko. Parang wala lang ako sakanila, nakita kong parang hindi nila ako kasama nang papalakad sila palabas.

"It's 5,430, ma'am", I gave her my card.
"Thankyou po!," The girl said. My eyes
widened nang makita kong wala na sila
sa parking lot. I texted zia, and she said that I'll wait them here.

Pag dating nila may dala na silang
ice cream. "Here ya go love". Zavyra
said while giving the ice cream for me.

Si siah nalang ang nag drive at kami ni zavyra sa likod nila. I saw the tiredness of
the three. Nakatulog na si zavyra sa balikat ko.

I opened quietly the paper bag to prepare
my gifts for them, the jewelries and clothes. Siah was wearing earset so she can't hear what I'm doing.

Nang binaba ako ni siah sa condo ko, I did
gave them the paper bags. They were confused about what's inside of it. "Take
it girls". When they get it and they opened
it, Their eyes starts to tear up. What a relief. "Gosh, is that tears of joy?" I laughed after saying it.

They give me a flying kiss before starting
the car.

"I'm miss them so much!" I whispered.
Bakit nag iba na sila?, zav was the only one
who make me smile every jokes she says.

I hope we can still continue our sparkle
memories.
