"How was school?" My moms in the car as I get in.
"Good I suppose?" I don't sound sure but I can't really tell her I like the neighbours boy and think he likes me back can I? "Ari was practising the production"
"Ooh she must be doing amazing, bet Naomi and James are so proud" I'm not so sure. Naomi and James are Ari's parents and aren't super supportive of her dream. She wants to be an actress, makes sense with how good she is, but her parents want her to go into the family real estate business. "Yeah..."
"She's such a lovely girl too, so kind" the rest of the journey is silent. Me, my thoughts and my mom in the car. I may have hated Alexander at the start, but maybe he's not that bad. He's sweet to me, at home and in public. Maybe he's not so bad?
