Red Hole [Short Story]

Chapter 2

Dad take us to school using our car. Me and danielle is entering a same school so I know what he's doing.

"Danielle, can you please don't ask me again about what you saw last night?"

"Why? I'm just really curious. The more I think about it the more i really want to know what is that thing."

"I already answer your question right?"

"An airplane. Its not." he replied.

"I'll wait for you in the cafeteria later after my class. I will join you back home and I let's look again at your telescope"

"My class will finish at 3:00 pm and your class will finish at 1:00 pm. Are you really want to wait?"

"Ofcourse Iris. You're my older sister so I'm taking care of you."

"You're trolling me again."

"Bye, Iris see you later."

He then run and go to his class.

I left walking to my room.

Then suddenly Drake call me.

"Iris!" drake called me from far away.

*he then wave a wait sign*

"Did you answer the homeworks?"

"Yes."

"Good. Can we talk ?"

"For what?"

"Ahmmm. Later. "

"Say it now. While were walking"

"Later."

I just stay quiet while walking with him.

Iris's POV :

He's Drake Brook. My classmate and my seatmate. President in our class and the valedictorian. He's handsome but he's nerdy.We're not really close because I'm not comfortable talking to boys except my brother. Besides he's the one to talk to me. I was just talking to him about school like projects work and tests. Wait ! He's a very mysterious boy too.

We seat at the class. I just stay quiet and he's the one talking. Like me, he is a space enthusiast also. He's telling me about info about cosmos that I don't know.

"Do you believe in aliens?"

"Aliens?"

"Yes. Aliens"

"No. I don't believe at them.Why?"

"Nothing."

"No scientist and even NASA don't says that aliens are true."

"I believe at them" i said.

"We have our own opinion in that particular thing. Its your freedom."

Then our teacher came in the class.

*After the class*

"Wait!" drake said with a loud voice.

"What?" I replied.

"I have something to tell you. Remember that?"

"Say it now."

"Can we talk in a people less environment like in the ground. In the benches there."

"Is that something important drake?"

Then lets go.

While we're walking. My little brother run towards me.

"Iris, let's go home."

"Ahmmm.....danielle can you go home first? I have works to do here"

"Iris. Go with your little brother. Just forget about that."

"Are you sure drake? I think that's very important"

"No, I will tell you about that last night. When you have free time."

"Okay. See you tomorrow"

Then danielle and I go home.

Drake's POV :

If I can just tell this in many people. I want her to know about us and the plan to abduct her. What if she knew that I'm an alien who is transforming into a human.

"Danielle, he has something to tell me yet you insist to go home." I said.

"But he agreed. In fact he's the one to told that we must go home. So its not my fault."

"Maybe he's mad at you danielle"

"No. He's not. His face is like an angel so he don't know to be angry or mad."

"You're just seeing the physical appearance not the inner."

"Iris, you are the one who get mad. I think you two has something" he looked at me with tickling me.

"Danielle, I already said to you that I will not have a boyfriend until I finished college and have a good job."

"I don't believe in you"

Then he run. I was left alone walking thinking.

Iris's POV :

I know what he will going to say. I feel it and I'm just acting that I don't know. I have feelings for him but I already stop it. It will just ruin my studying. I have many plans for myself and family.

I walk inside of our house and I see my little brother making up my telescope.

"Hey! Danielle. Can't you wait for me to arrive?"

"I'm really excited Iris."

"Okay. After I finished changing my clothes"

I run upstairs and change my clothes.
