Leon Kennedy x Reader (RE4R)

Chapter One

When you and Leon had been cornered by ganados, he managed to find a hiding spot for you two. He sat in a small closet corner, pulling you into his lap since it was the most optimal way to save space AND keep you safe.

You couldn't help but squirm as he clasped a hand over your mouth from behind. After a moment of you continuing to squirm, he groaned softly and shushed you.

"Sit still, damnit." He growls in your ear, holding you even tighter. "You. Need. To. Be. Still."

"I-I just, sorry!". You muffle

"It's fine. Just please be silent." He whispered, keeping his hand over your mouth.

You feel his chest rise and fall with his breathing. A few moments go by of you two sat there in silence. Then, you both hear the stomping of several pairs of feet from above you. They stop in front of the closet. Leon lets out a quiet gasp as your eyes pop in fear.

"Is anyone in there?" Someone asks, followed by a few laughs, which causes Leon to stiffen..

You're still holding your breath, while your hand unintentionally squeezes into Leon's Thigh.

Leon's body tenses at your squeezing, but he doesn't move. He just listens carefully to what they're saying. Luckily, nobody bothers to even try and open the closet door.

Eventually, the noises overhead die down, and you hear them moving further away. After a few more minutes, they're gone. Leon slowly lets out a breath of relief and pulls his hand away from your mouth.

"We should be fine now." He murmurs, lifting you off of his lap to stand up as he himself stands as well. "Let's go."

"I-I'm not sure. Can we stay maybe just a little longer?" Your Voice is shaky and your Hands are trembling. You did not even realize, how scared you really are

Leon's eyes widen as he sees how distressed you look.

He chuckles softly. "Hey, hey, it's alright." He says, reaching up to gently pat your cheek. "I promise... we just have to move one more room then we'll be safe."

Leon gives your cheek one last pat before he holds his hand out for you to hold onto it.

"I'll keep you safe." he whispers with a soft smile on his face. "Just... come on."

"Okay, i trust you". You nod and grab his Hand. It feels warm and soft and you immediately feel yourself relax. Dragging you behind him, Leon leaves the closet.

Leon slowly peeks his head out of the closet door, taking a deep breath of relief when he sees the room is empty. With you still holding onto his hand, he leads you both across the room, to another door.

He takes a moment to listen closely, before slowly pushing the door open with his foot. Thankfully, the next room is also empty. Leon gives you a small smile before he opens the door wide enough for him to move through.

"Come on." He says as he looks back at you. "We're almost out."

"How do you know, where we have to go? I would be lost within minutes!" You chuckle, as you both keep moving forward. It always impresses you, how some people can navigate so easily.

Leon chuckles too and moves out of the room.

"Experience." He says simply as he leads you both through the hallways, eventually coming to a sliding metal shutter.

"Just stay quiet, okay?"

With that said, Leon reaches up and pushes the shutter open carefully. He peers outside before he motions for you to come forward and follow him.

He then leads you both out into a small alleyway and he sighs in relief.

"See?" He says, smiling at you. "I told you I'd keep you safe, huh?"

"Yes you did, my Knight in shining Armor!" You smile as you place a soft kiss on his cheek, seeing Leon blushing a little bit afterwards.

Leon lets out a flustered giggle as he blushes and looks away, clearing his throat.

"W-what do you think you're doing?" He ask, rubbing his cheek. "That's... um..." He trails off and giggles again.

"How am I gonna get rid of this blush now?" He mumbles under his breath, but you can still very clearly hear him. "Don't worry, you look very cute with it! It suits you" You giggle and reach for Leons Hand again. "C'mon, let's get out of here"

Leon chuckles softly at your words as it causes him to blush even more. He nods and takes your hand.

"Alright, let's go." He says, feeling himself smile at you as you two leave the alleyway and start walking through the streets of rural Spain.

"Um..." Leon says suddenly as you're walking, looking at you with a faint smile on his face. "So... are you feeling better now? You know, after all that?"

Your eyebrows begin to furrow, as you try to think about an honest answer. Are you feeling better? Well, the whole situation still sucks ass, for sure. But at least you're not alone and your companion makes this situation A LOT better. And he's pretty hot, as a bonus. So yeah, you are feeling better. You turn to look at Leon, giving him a soft smile before you answer his question "yeah, i think so. I mean, could be a lot worse, right?"
