Two stories where Elvis kisses two different girls with self-esteem issues, either on or off the set of King Creole, and falls for them. With this one, you can pick story 1 or 2.
Story 1:
Dorothy Hatch's dream is to become an actress. She lands the part of an extra in the movie King Creole starring Elvis Presley. She is over the moon to even be an extra in this movie and close enough to touch The King. In the one scene that she's in, the one in which she says her one line, a schoolyard scene, there are some other girl extras her age. The schoolyard set becomes something like a real schoolyard, with the girls bullying the odd girl out—her—saying she's not pretty and has no hope of furthering her career. She's always had self-confidence issues, and she thought that becoming an actress would help that, but maybe not. Elvis steps in the comfort her, but he doesn't expect to do so by kissing her! As the filming goes on, the feelings rage. That one kiss really did something to the both of them. Will this last? Elvis has to go to the army soon, and he may forget about her.

Story 2:
Daphne Hall has been ridiculed all her life because of her larger size. Why do people have to be so harsh? She wants to be an actress, but the snide comments people make dashes her dreams to pieces. Who would want to put a girl like her in a movie? Saddened, she listens to Elvis Presley's music. It soothes her soul. Her father lands a job as a cameraman for Elvis's newest movie King Creole. He puts in a good word to the director about his daughter who wants to be an actress, and the director allows her to be an extra in a couple of scenes. She's completely mesmerized by Elvis, but her happy feelings disappear when she hears people saying negative things about her. Elvis notices this and goes to comfort her, and he thinks the only way to convince her that she's special is to kiss her. Well, all he wanted was to comfort her and give her some confidence, but he finds himself falling for the larger blonde with glittering blue eyes. What will come of his, especially since he's going to the army right after filming is through?
