Angela doesn't want to fall in love ever again. She jumped into the deep end when she married a man that she knew for only a month. That ended in heartache and tears after he told her that he wasn't really in love with her and wanted a divorce. Now, a divorcee of twenty-five, she's working as a schoolteacher in a small, backwater town in the middle of Oregon state. Several of her students' single dads try to flirt with her and ask her on dates, but she refuses, fearful that she'll get hurt again. She has three cats, so maybe she can become a spinster cat lady that is only focused on her career. One day, her plan is thwarted when a famous star is seen near the school. This makes her tween students go wild. Shocked, she sees that this star is Elvis Presley, the man whose music soothed her as she went through her divorce. Apparently, he's on his way to Seattle to make a movie and is passing through. Even though he's her favorite star, she can't be swayed, no matter how many times he shows up near the school just to see her, and in the two days that he's in town before he leaves. She doesn't want to fall in love again, but can a person help it? Elvis sure can't. He fell in love with her at first sight. Maybe he can teach this beautiful red-headed schoolteacher to love again.
