"We. Are. So. Moded," Traci states worriedly.

"Fixing this would take a lot more than bending a branch back into shape," Khalid says.

"Teg aremac ydaer!" Zatanna chants, causing her hair and clothes to get dried.

"You know who we're going to see. So you and Blood should go on a recruiting tour, too," Zatanna tells them.

I let out a sigh. "We're going to need all the help we can get," I state, my arms crossed.

Phantom Stranger nods, and takes Jason Blood along with him.

"Rehtaf, ediug ruo yenruoj hguorht S'etaf Yloh Hkna!" Zatanna chants.

Zatanna groans from exhaustion, and Khalid and I catch her, moving her to recline on a chair.

"Thanks, Doc, and Zanobia," Zatanna says gratefully.

"I'm not a doctor yet," Khalid states.

"Nope. Not yet," Zatanna replies.

"Is she alright?" Mary questions.

"There's a cost to magic. She's drained her vim vitae, her life force," Khalid observes, touching Zatanna's neck to find her pulse.

"Using the ankh always takes it out of me," Zatanna says.

"Huh? The spell usually takes me to the stairs," Zatanna observes.

"I wonder why we wound up here?" Zatanna inquires.

"Aunt Inza?" Khalid questions.

"Oh, that's why," I say out of realization, looking at Zatanna as she nods.

I remember Wally telling me the story of how he met Kent Nelson, who was the original Doctor Fate before he passed. I frown at the thought, turning my attention to Mary.
