3rd Person Pov

-

jh: are you ready to go to school channie?" he asked him as he fixed the younger's hair.
dn: yeah!
he excitedly said.

chan was eight whereas jeonghan was twenty six. he had chan when was eighteen, and has been raising him as a single parent ever since then. his friends helped him take care of chan too. they adored the younger and the younger adored them. jeonghan had quite a hard time raising chan alone, which is why he was thankful to his friends. the fatehr of the younger was a story that jeonghan only told a few people, only a few of his friends knew who it was.

jh: is it okay if uncle gyu brings you to school instead of eomma? eomma needs to go to work
he wanted to bring the younger to school, but he was gonna be late for work. he worked at a cafè that opens in a few minutes.
dn: it's fine eomma! as long as you pick me up later?
he knew that jeonghan needed to work, he was very understanding about it. he never got mad when jeonghan couldn't be with him.
jh: i will pick you up later channie! let's bring you to uncle gyu now. he's waiting for us outside
he picked up the younger, heading outside and bringing him to the back of mingyu's car.

jh: thanks for doing this for me gyu!
he hugged him.
mg: not a problem. i know it's hard being a single parent for you han. ask me anything, and i'll help
jeonghan smiled at how caring gyu was to chan and him.
mg: you're the best gyu!
he then left and headed to his car, going over to the cafè.

jh: channie, you'll have a babysitter for today, okay?
jeonghan was going to work extra hours for today. he asked some of his friends if they knew anyone since none of them could do it. dokyeom knew someone, he was a good friend of them. he loved kids and volunteered to babysit chan.
ch:who will it be eomma? is it uncle gyu
chan loved gyu. he was always so fun to be around.

jh: no, it sadly isn't. he's a good friend of uncle dokyeom, and he wanted to babysit you. he should be arriving right about now.
he then heard the doorbell ring. he answered it and saw someone there.
jh: you must be the one dokyeom asked to babysit chan?
he kept his head down as he was still holding chan's hand, when he looked up, he couldnt see the person's face clearly.
js: yeah
he went lower, being the same height as chan.
js: you must be chan, right?
he nodded his head.
js: what should i call you?he cutely asked, stretching his arms.
js: my name's joshua
he held the younger's arm.
ch: so uncle shua?
joshua gently smiled, then nodded his head.

joshua stood up, jeonghan got a better look of his face.
jh: wait, joshuji!
he stepped back, he wasn't expecting the face of someone he was close to in highschool be infront of him. they both lost contact years ago.
js: hannie?
joshua's face looked colder once he realized who he was standing infront of.
jh: i'm sorry i've got to go. channie, i need to leave. be good and don't be too much of a trouble to jiso-i mean joshua!
he quickly left.

when he got into his car, tears fell out of his face.
jh: no no no! why are you here now joshuji! out of all the times i could've encountered you, it was when i needed a babysitter for chan.

joshua was still in shock.
js:i've always wondered how you were doing all those years, hannie. now i finally have my answer

jeonghan was on his break and he decided to call dokyeom.
jh: you didn't tell me that the person you were friends with was joshua!
he heard a laugh from the other line.
dk: it wasn't technically my plan hyung. it was hoshi's. both of us still kept in touch with shua hyung so we decided to call him, we knew he would love to do it. and it would be a surprise to him once he finds out about the secret that you've hidden from him
