Chapter 29: Dusk to Dawn

Jay opened his eyes and saw a disappointed Andrea who said "You died huh? Well I guess you didn't break the promise since the timeline is now resetting so id say 1...2...3".Before Jay could say anything, there was a big white flash and then darkness. When he opened his eyes, he found himself staring up at the ceiling in his and Andrea's bedroom but she wasn't there. He quickly got up and headed downstairs where he found Andrea making breakfast, while his little 6-year-old, Victoria was eating cereal. He ran up to her and pulled her into a tight hug and then a deep kiss before she giggled and said "I'm glad you remembered".

Jay looked at her confused before she smiled and said "What, did you really think that was just a bad dream...we'll talk about it later once she's preoccupied". Jay smiled and said, "Of course, we will, after I drop her off at school". Andrea looked at him and said, "I thought she wasn't-".Before she could finish, he smiled at her and she instantly understood. Andrea walked over to Victoria and said "You're going to school sweetie so go get dressed and if you behave well, Daddy will lift your punishment as soon as you get home". 

Victoria smiled and ran over and hugged Jay and said "I'm really sorry for being mean to you" and Jay laughed and said, "I'm sorry for punishing you for something that you never had control over...you never asked for these powers yet there here and we've gotta do our best to teach you properly". As Victoria headed upstairs, the lock on the front door clicked, and in walked Julie with a smile on her face. She said, "I'm here to take Victoria to school and after that, I need to talk to both of you...more specifically, Jay about the weirdest dream I had". A few minutes later, Victoria came down and both her and Julie headed out the door.

The married couple stood there awkwardly until Jay walked over to the couch and motioned for his wife to follow. As she took a seat, Jay broke the silence and said "I love you Andrea, and I'm in no way upset for what you did...I just wish you would've learned to have more faith in me". Andrea kissed his cheek and said "Sweetie I thank the heavens every day that I married you...you were there for me every step of the way, even when weren't married yet...even when I was nearing the brink of insanity, you still held onto me tight and refused to let go". He smiled and said" of course I did, you gave my life purpose and a new meaning, Andrea, you saved me from myself and gave me a wonderful life that I never dreamed I would have...I would follow you anywhere".

Jay got up and pushed her onto her back as he hovered over her with a mischievous grin. He said "Still that doesn't let you off the hook for leaving me out of the decision-making process...wherever you go I go and that includes dying together to save the world... you can't just make the decision that you should die for Victoria's crimes...I should've been the one to go not you but you absolutely insisted". Andrea blushed and said "I-" but before she could speak, she was interrupted by her husband pressing his lips onto hers very passionately which turned her on.

She deepened the kiss as Jay slid his hands down her body which drew a few moans from her. He pulled away and kissed down her neck and then played with her bra strap and kissed around her chest. He continued his kisses as his hands rubbed on her hips and played with the hemline of her panties for a bit before he stopped abruptly and pulled away. He walked over to the recliner and sat down and looked at his phone, which puzzled Andrea. She said "Excuse me? I'm over here" and he giggled and said, "I told you I was gonna punish you so now we're even".

Before she could retaliate, the gods popped up in the living room with Aula in company. Ariel took human form and said, "Despite not knowing anything, you two managed to put everything together and fix it". Maya spoke up and said, "The flow of time is back to normal and everyone that died is back where they should be as well". Ariel said, "As for all the damage to the timeline, it's been reversed so that it continues ahead unaltered but as you've already noticed, we're allowing you to keep the memories as well as your family". 

 Andrea smiled and said, "Since we saved the world yet again, there's a small favor I would like to ask". Ariel smiled and said, "It's already done... I'm sure that version of your daughter is very happy right now".
