You were outside playing with your friends at the park while your parents watched from afar. As all of you were running around playing a game of tag you freeze hearing the faint sound of screams and explosions. All of your friends halt as well hearing the same thing. Doing the only thing you could in the moment, you all get scared splitting up and running to your parents. You look at your parents faces examining them only to find out that they are just as horrified as you are.
As everyone hears the explosions getting louder your father picks you up and runs alongside your mother. You guys didn't make it that far since the threat was surrounding the area. Everywhere you turned there were piles upon piles of bodies, puddles of blood, as well as dust and ruble from fallen houses and buildings. You were horrified only being 10 at the time you looked at your parents. They were looking at each other then shared a simple nod and looked ahead of them.
When you looked towards what they were staring at it all hit you at once. They were gonna take a pod to another planet... or so you thought. Suddenly you were moving through the traumatic scenery stopping at the pod just in time. They put you in it and set it to send you to a planet. You were lost and confused with watery eyes you looked at them asking if they were gonna come with you. They both looked at you with glossy eyes as tears threatened to fall your mother finally speaking up. "Don't worry baby we'll take the next pod after you okay?" Her voice was quiet and soft as she gave a faint smile. "promise?" You say letting a tear run down your cheek. Your parents stood there silently for a minute then they both nodded without looking you in the eyes.
Your father finally pressed the button sending you off. You sat down in the pod knowing it would take a little while for it to land. Looking at the location of where they were sending you, you read it aloud. "Earth?" Shrugging it off you lye down and get comfortable eventually falling asleep. When you woke up and examined the area you realized you had landed in the forest. With no where to go and also patiently waiting for your parents to arrive you decided to distract yourself. Going days and days still waiting for your parents you slowly start making a living in the forest building weapons, cooking, hunting, and even making a home.
You were still waiting for your parents after a whole year. Then you finally excepted the fact that they were never coming with you. They broke their promise and left you all alone. You were hurt but brushed it off appreciating the fact that they taught you all the things they could about surviving on your own. So here you are living peacefully in the woods for 3 years with no human interaction or anything else to worry for.
Until one day, you were wondering through the woods swinging from tree to tree by your tail looking for food. Suddenly you hear a bush shake in the distance jumping into the tree above it you watch quietly and patiently waiting for whatever was in it to come out. As it came into view you realized its a... person. He had long black hair with eye bags and a scarf around his neck. Not knowing what to do you quickly swing back towards your home hearing the person follow you from afar. Finally reaching your safe zone you hide hearing him get closer you peek at him from behind your home door. Noticing your large pure white eyes piercing at him through the crack of the door he spoke. "Hey I don't know if you can understand me but I'm not here to hurt you." You furrow your eyebrows not believing what he said. He spoke once more.
"I really mean it I won't harm you in any way. Do you mind coming out?" Only understanding a little of what he was saying you poke your head out from behind the door. He gets a bit frightened, looking at you closely he realizes the deer head you seemed to have on was only a mask. Examining him you speak "You need thing?" It took him a minute to understand you with the mask on plus your broken english. Finally coming to terms with the sentence he says "No I don't need anything but I could help you." You tilt your head in confusion and ask "Help? How?" He notices that the mask is muffling your voice, he proceeds to asks. "Could you.. take off your mask?" He does a hand gesture to make sure you can understand what he meant. You slowly take off the mask showing your lightly purple shaded skin. He backs away giving you space to ask his next question. "Now I want you to come out all the way so we can actually talk if you don't mind?"
